i wanted to appologize for how long this has taken me to upload something new and edit my phone and laptopo were stolen and that was how i wrote i'll be uploading a lot soon i promise i hope you guys stick with me. vote and leave comments please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!]

While they talked I listened from the doorway trying to make sense of the conversation I was listening to.

 "Temperance she needs more protection now not in a week or two. She's of age now let me send someone here while you prepare her or both of you come with me."

 "Really Jet and who would you send? Some pion who is barely out of diapers knows nothing of her but what he has heard in the rumor mill. There are very few if any who can handle her now what if she changes unexpectedly and kills them or herself what if she taken?"

 "Let me send Daj, he's my son he's a mix blood and he has trained his whole life to protect her, he can train her teach her what he knows and guide to Elder castle."

 "Your son may be a great protector but his temper and attitude are as undesirable as I could imagine. Plus he didn't choose the life of a protector of his own free will he was forced into it. I doubt he will even take the oath to stay with her and do what is needed."

"Do you dare insult my sons morals on protecting her he is my blood and that is as good as me being there I vouch for him so you should accept it."

I couldn't take it anymore I finally stepped into the room and interrupted the 2 talking before it could go any farther. "What's going on? Are you talking about me? Why would I need protecting? And from who? Weird things are happening to me and I need to know if I'm going crazy or if there something else happening here and could you please stop screaming its not necessary your killing my head."

They just stared at me in awe for a minute finally Temperance spoke up

"Pandora honey how are you?"

 "I'm confused and getting angry please explain."

 "We need to talk, go wait in the kitchen eat and have coffee and ill be right in ok?"

As I turned to leave my hand was grasped gently I spun around the man who's name I learned was Jet he was breathtaking to look at olive colored skin mid to late 30s perfect smile clean shaven and coal black eyes that seemed could look into your soul, he smelled like a Christmas tree in a very sexy rugged way as I snapped back to reality and caught my hormones I tuned into his words

"you are everything we hoped for I'm always at your service anything at all just ask it of me."

And with that he kissed my hand nodded his head. He walked to the door and stopped

 "Temperance ill call you shortly to set up arrangements I must speak with Daj."

And with that he was gone.

I walked into the kitchen grabbed a plate of food and a giant cup of coffee poured in some caramel baileys creamer and sat down to eat. When I was done and pouring another cup of coffee Temperance came in looking quite happy which just annoyed me more. She grabbed herself some coffee pulled up a chair next to me.

 "Ok I'm going to explain everything once I'm done you can ask any questions you have just let me get through this ok?"

 I just nodded my consent while cringing at her words the volume of her voice was still overbearing she must have noticed.

 "Has your hearing heightened?"

I nodded

 "take a deep breath and relax picture yourself turning the volume down like you would on a TV concentrate hard on this."

I did as she asked and when she spoke again it was normal I breathed a sigh of relief and settled back into my chair and waited for her to begin.

 "This is going to be a lot to take in some you will understand some will come later and I'm sure you'll have .a lot of questions, ok I guess the best place to start is from the beginning so you understand the cause of what you are."
