"Ma'am I'm going to be nice and let you go." The officer said taking the handcuffs off. "Ma'am you are going to have to call someone to get you, the car is evidence" The officer said. I reached in my purse calling Sonya. I told her I will explain everything when I seen her. I waited to the officers turned around so I could get rid of the weed. "Girl hurry up and get in the car you know my licence is suspended" Sonya said. I quickly got off the curb and made my way to her car

"I don't know what happened everything was going good I got some good dick then the next thing I know the police is behind us arresting Cameron for the possession of cocaine" I said rubbing my temple. "Is it his?" Sonya asked. I sighed. "I don't know, he saying that he is being set up. I don't know what to think" I said. I stopped by my grandma's and quickly got Lucas. "Call me if you need anything" Sonya said to me as I got out the car. I held Lucas in my hand as I fiddle with keys looking for the house key

I called down to the police department "He has not been processed yet. Call back in a hour" The lady said then the line went dead. I sighed tossing my phone. This is so fucking frustrating every, everything was going just fine now this little situation ruining everything. Lucas crawled on me, I handed him his pacifier then he laid his head on my chest. I rubbed his back as I watched t.v. I sat up,clearing my throat trying to stop myself from going to sleep, I do not want to miss the phone call from Cameron

My eyes popped open as I was woken up by knocking on the door. I placed Lucas down on Cam side of the bed then I placed two pillows so he wouldn't fall off the bed. I rested against the door seeing it was Danny. Does this nigga have a fucking life. "Ava open the door, it's Danny" He said. I cursed under my breath then I opened the door "Yes" I said. "I talked to Cameron he wanted me sit with y'all" Danny said. "We are good" I said then I closed the door but he stopped me "Come on ma I'm just doing what he told me. I don't want to cause any trouble" Danny said looking at me like I was a piece of candy

I moved out the way so he could come in. He took a seat on the couch. "You need anything?" I asked before I went upstairs. "Nah I'm good" He said licking his lips. Why does he have to be so fucking fine. I hate his fine ass. I locked the bedroom door then I walked into the closet changing out clothes to my pajamas. I put my hair in a ponytail then I laid down in bed. I stared at Lucas as so many thoughts ran through my head. What happens if Cam missed majority of Lucas life or if Cam is going to get out when Lucas is a grown ass man. Maybe I'm over thinking

10:45am

I woke up to Lucas slapping my face "You not going to let mommy sleep" I said. He smiled "Eat" He said. My baby is such a nigga baby. Da and eat that's the only words he know. "Come here" I said placing him on his back so I could change his diaper. I handed him his toys so I could get myself together. I held Lucas in my hips walking down stairs. I put him down so he could crawl around while I fixed him his breakfast

"Hey" I jumped hearing Danny voice, I forgot he was here. "Hey" I replied back putting Lucas in his high chair. "Here" Danny said handing me his phone. "Baby" Cam said "Are you okay?" I asked as I automatically started worrying about him. I mouth thank you to Danny as he started to feed Lucas for me. "Yeah baby don't worry about me, how you holding up" He asked "Good baby I just missed you" I said. I know it's only been a couple of hours but for these past weeks we've been spending all our time together

"Well I talked to my lawyer and my court date is Tuesday" Cam said. I sighed knowing that the results are not going to be good. "Baby you know you gotta be strong. I love you and tell my son I love him" Cam said. "I love you" I said then the line went dead. I wiped the few tears that I shedded. "It's going to be okay" Danny said embracing me into a hug. I rested my head on his chest He pulled back and kissed my lips. I pushed him away "I'm sorry" He said "Go" I yelled throwing his phone at him. "I'm sorry" Danny said then he walked away

Tuesday, 8:45am

"Lucas come here, so mommy can put your shirt on" I said. I kissed his cheek then I put his shirt on. I strapped Lucas in his car seat then I pulled out the drive way.

"Hey" Cameron's sister said embracing me into a hug. Surprisingly Cam family likes me but his rude ass mother that stay throwing shade at me, claiming that I ruined her son life. Bitch miss me with that bull shit. I closed my eyes saying a quick prayer waiting for the judge to sentence him

"Your honor I'll ask that you would be lenient towards my sentence, I have a seven month old son. I can't fathom my son growing up with me not present in his life" Cam said. The judge nodded his head "I sentence you to eight years with a 200,000 fine. Mr. Donovan that's all I can offer you" The judge said hitting his gravel dismissing court. Cam stood up so the guard could put the handcuffs on him "I love you" He mouth
