Feeling a hand over my mouth, I try saying something and try moving my arms but they're tied up behind my back.

Whimpering I open my eyes and look around but all I see is darkness.

"Don't scream..."

It's a female voice.

I feel like I know the voice.

The hand is removed from my mouth and I gasp for breath.

"Little Skylar, just look how you've grown. The Luna of your pack, a strong mate and a pup in your womb." She sighs.

"Who are you!" I snap.

"Oh Skylar...you don't remember your own mother."

A bright white light turns on and I hiss sharply closing my eyes.

Slowly opening my eyes I repeatedly blink until I'm able to see again.

"Mum?" I gasp as I make eye contact with her.

"Hey little one..."

"Mum, why am I here? Why did you take me away from George?" I ask trying to sit up.

She reaches round and unties my wrists which makes me regain feeling in my hands.

Sitting up I cross my legs and she sits on the mattress beside me.

"I can't be in that pack house. Not so close to the Red Moon Pack." She frowns.

"How are you alive? I watched him rip you apart and set you on fire." I exclaim.

"Oh sweetie. When I was younger, I be-friended a witch, who could bring the dead back to life. After the fire went out, she and her son collected all of my pieces and sewed me back together. I was then buried in fresh dirt for almost a year. Then I was good as new. And I spent years trying to find you, trying to contact you. And then I saw you with your mate." She explains, slightly tearing up at the end.

"Mum. Come and live in the pack house. I'll tell you everything about my life since you left. The alpha of the Red Moon pack is banished from entering our land, George will personally kill him if he tries anything." I beg.

"Sweetie...I don't know..." She sighs.

"Mum I can't tell you anything unless I'm with George, I'm not emotionally stable plus I'm pregnant. I need my mate." I whimper.

"We'll go at dawn.."
