It all started with my brother’s nightmare. Of course he wakes us all up from his yelling, but instead of going back to sleep like he usually does he came running down the hall.

“Terrence,” he screamed between breathes, his bare feet thumping against the maple wood floor.

“What,” I sighed in annoyance. Don’t get me wrong I love him to pieces, but sometimes he gets just a little annoying.

“It was awful,” he yelled yet again at the top of his voice. It was enhanced by the darkness that leads to my sliding door.

“Shut up! Some of us are trying to sleep,” the twins yelled in unison before they lay back on to their well beaten pillows.

An annoyed “ugh” came from the eldest brother’s room. With a muffled grump and shuffling, his door opened, “What happened?”

“Terrence, you died!” Warm tears started streaming down his little puffed cheeks. He turned to my door, which I am sliding open now since I jumped out of bed hoping he didn’t say it again. “I said you . . .”

“Hold it.” I interrupted him, “Let me think.” Okay my brother’s dreams can come true. I know this because he had a dream of an earthquake and he saw the date in his dream. He had to see the same gruesome images from his dream twice thanks to the news.

While I was deep in thought I didn’t notice the commotion the twins made tripping out of bed and running across their messy bedroom floor. I only clean their bedroom once a month now since we made an agreement to have them clean it for money.

“No! That can’t be true!” Fai yelled in distress.

“I just won’t believe it!” Sky hissed lightly.

“Aw, you guys.” I said this even though I have a feeling they will end up saying something that reverts back to them.

“Who will cook our food?” Fai put on a sad face.

“And who will clean the house?” Sky also put on a sad face and both ran towards me for a hug, their green eyes slightly tearing up.

“No! No, no, no, no, no,” Byakko repeated as he finally realized what was said. He ran to hug Terrence with his messy black hair gleaming with what little light there was. “How could you dream something like that Ryuu?”

“B-chan how could you say that, it’s not like I want T-chan to leave,” Ryuu the youngest started to cry even more as he ran to glomp Terrence who is now being hugged by all four brothers.

“Guys stop it, you’ll wake the neighbor’s,” She tried to push them off but they wouldn’t budge. “Hey can we talk about this in the morning? I would like to get some sleep for school tomorrow.”

All the boys sigh in unison an “Okay” and they let go of Terrence and went to sleep.
