[Flashback]
Aubrey rushed to Alexandra and picked her up.
Aubrey: I haven't seen you in forever. Why didn't you call?
Alexandra: I was so busy! But I missed you.
Aubrey put her down in the Ritz Carlton parking lot of New York City. Aubrey leaned on the back of his Rolls Royce.
Aubrey (Pulling her towards him): Never go without calling. I wanted you to come through.
Alexandra: Well, I'm here now.
Alexandra wrapped her arms around Aubrey and kissed him. They went on a few dates then she went abroad for a few fashion shows and some photoshoots. She didn't really keep in touch with Aubrey because she didn't think that it would be a good effort. They had some fun. They had sex. They had a moment in her mind but Aubrey wasn't just ready to let that moment go. He didn't wanna let her go.
Alexandra: What do you want to get into?
Alexandra stepped away with a smile.
Aubrey: Being with you.
Alexandra made a confused face.
Alexandra: Uh, for the night?
Alexandra, who was just getting out of a bad relationship was open to the chance of her and Aubrey. But she was nervous about a lot of things that came with him. His name. His popularity. His brand.
Aubrey (Grabbing her again with a seductive smile): No. Now.
There was no such thing in someone like Aubrey asking someone "Will you be my girlfriend". Alexandra grinned.
Alexandra: You come to my fashion shows and I'm all yours.
[Now]
Alexandra: Where is all of this coming from?
Aubrey: I mean, I thought about it. We could do it for your birthday or in Toronto or whenever I have a break.
Alexandra: Aubrey, I can't do that. We can't do that.
Aubrey: Do what?
Alexandra: We're rushing a wedding that our parents probably won't attend, our friends can't attend and we're just rushing.
Aubrey stood there for a while. Alexandra hugged him.
Alexandra: I'm Queen of irrational thoughts. I know that maybe it feels right at the moment but I don't want to get to that point and then one of us isn't ready to take that step. Besides...this is YOUR tour. I'm not gonna put something as big as our wedding in between that.
Aubrey: Maybe you're right.
Alexandra (Grabbing Aubrey's hand): We have a flight to catch.
[On the flight back home]
Alexandra skyped with Marina and Madison back at the store while her, Aubrey and the guys were on their flight back to California to pack for Aubrey's tour.
Madison: How did it go there?
Alexandra (With her Beats in): Uh, it was touch and go for a moment. It was certainly a lot to take in.
Marina: Are you gonna go on the tour?
Alexandra: I feel like I've been losing focus on the store. I mean this is supposed to be my business. Our business and I feel like I've been letting things go.
Marina: This is our business. And it's doing well. Have you been working on designs?
Alexandra: I have. I was thinking the typical California look. Maybe a little cheaper and some nicer fabric. We probably make a whole collection and we market it as like 'Boutique Beachwear'.
The guys talked in the bar as Alexandra continued with her in air computer business meeting.
Chubbs: How did she take the news when you guys got to the room?
Aubrey (Getting himself a beer): She didn't really say anything about it. It's kinda like, we had a whole other set of things to deal with than that.
Chubbs looked over at her.
Marina: That sounds ok. I feel like it will sound much better in person.
Alexandra: Probably.
Madison: How's the engagement?
Alexandra: I made sure I held things off until after the tour. I wouldn't want the stress of trying to keep things under wraps and having to deal with the tour and the wedding and people coming and people going and a dress and a this and a that.
Aubrey walked in front of Alexandra with a glass of wine and sat in the seat in front of her and her laptop.
Alexandra: Ok guys, I gotta go. I'll see you when I get back.
Madison & Marina: Ok! Bye!
Alexandra closed her laptop and took out her earbuds. Aubrey handed her the glass of wine.
Aubrey: How'd your meeting go?
Alexandra: Good. I'm gonna introduce some things when we get back and take a stronger approach to my business.
Aubrey: Good. I'm proud of you.
Alexandra: I'm proud of you too.
Aubrey: So come with me.
Alexandra smiled and sipped her wine.
Alexandra: I'll go.
Alexandra smiled at Aubrey.
When they all got home, Alexandra, the girl of the house, packed everyone's bags for the tour and even packed a bag for herself. Alexandra and Aubrey met up in the hallway adjacent to the garage as they all loaded into the tour bus. Alexandra held up something from her bag before Aubrey could walk out. Aubrey dropped his bags with a smile.
Alexandra: The first ever 'Nothing Was The Same' vinyl.
She held it over her smile for a second then brought it from her face and looked at Aubrey with glee. She went and had it made because vinyl Drake albums or vinyl albums of any kind were special. And this was special to her. It wasn't a platinum plaque but it was something she had done for him. She just wanted to do something nice for him before they were thrown back into tour world. A world she would be experiencing first hand for the first time.
Aubrey (Stepping to Alexandra): That is perfect.
He looked at the record lost for words for a second. He was so in love with Alexandra. The little things that she did was what made him want her forever. She was so sweet. So adorable. So lovable. Alexandra tried to give Aubrey the record but instead he pulled her in for a hug. A tight, warm, embracing hug.
Aubrey (Softly in her ears): I love you.
Alexandra smiled and hugged him back tightly.
Alexandra: I love you more Aubrey. I'm proud of you.
Aubrey squeezed Alexandra in affection.
Aubrey (Patting Alex's back): Let's go.
Alexandra, Aubrey, Ryan, Neeks, Chubbs, Noah, Mark, Jonny and a few other people all piled on to Aubrey's tour bus for their huge Would You Like A Tour adventure. There first trip was to Aubrey's second hometown, Memphis, Tennessee to shoot a video off of his album. Alexandra was totally set for everyone to forget about her birthday in order to focus on the tour and the album but a small part of her wanted them to remember. And little to her knowledge, all of the guys remembered her birthday and were planning something special for her special day out of love for her.
