I ran through the school doors and saw my class door to my right. I walked in as the bell rang and sat in the desk near the back. "You were almost late, Jack." Mrs. Kinder warned. I felt my face heat up and I nodded, "Yes ma'am, won't happen again." I looked at where I was sitting and tensed up, I never sat here. My seat was on the other side of the room. "So, class! Today you get your assigned seats! Once you get your seat, you will all get partners. Ok, Jack stay where you are. Reese, you can move over by Jack." The teacher went on and on as I scribbled away in my notebook, doodling whatever came to mind. "What're you doing?" Reese asked, looking at my notebook. "Ju-just doodling a little. Making little drawings." I stuttered. "That little guy right there looks familiar." He teased as he snatched my notebook. "He-hey!" I exclaimed. "That little drawing looks like Mr. Badboy!" Reese teased. "No it doesn't." I argued. Reese tossed my notebook to one of his friends and I gasped. "Ok class! I will be right back. Stay quiet!" Mrs. Kinder said, cheerfully. My notebook was tossed around class until it finally hit the intimidating boy with blue hair. He sat up and looked at the book, examine the whole thing. He closed it and stood, scanning the classroom. I stared at my desk as the class laughed and chattered. I heard a chair drag across the floor and my notebook landed on my desk. I jumped and looked up to see the smirking, blue haired boy. He nodded once at me and walked back to his desk. "Ok! So, let's do an exercise to let me get to know you all! Get out one piece of paper and a pencil!" Mrs. Kinder said.
The day dragged on until it was finally over. I walked out with my hands full of books and started onto the back way to my house. "Nope!" A guy yelled as he passed, hitting my books from my hands. I gasped and turned to see the guy and his friends running away laughing. "Fucking assholes." I muttered, bending to start picking up my books. A shadow was cast over my books and someone dropped to help me pick them up. I looked over and saw the blue haired boy. "Here you go." He said, as we stood. He laid my other books on top and nodded once. "Thank you. You didn't have to help me." I said, shyly. "It's no big deal. I know I'd want someone to help me out like that." He said, them smirked and walked the other direction. I watched him walk away before turning and walking back myself.
