Harry's POV
The rest of my classes went by in a blur. My mind kept racing through the events that had occurred today. It was my first day and I've already gotten into a fight. But most importantly, I met the sweetest girl ever. I guess you could say my luck varies. I was putting class books and binders my locker when I felt a hand on my shoulder. It was Lauren.
"Harry, you're still riding with me right?" She asked, I could hear the excitement in her voice. It made my stomach flutter.
"Of course. I'm just putting a few books away."
"Alright."
She stood there so I took it that she was waiting for me. I shut the locker and we started walking. I could hear the whispers, people saying things like, "Why's she walking with him?" and "Who is the loser with, Lo?". I wondered if she had heard them like I had. Maybe. We hadn't reached the front of the school before 3 girls ran up to Lauren. The one with the blonde hair was tall with short brown hair and braces. She was pretty. "Lo, we have a homecoming meeting tomorrow if you want to run! You'd be a great homecoming queen!" The girl said. The two shorter girls behind her nodded with enthusiasm.
One of the shorter girls, about 5"5, spoke up. "Yeah, Lauren. You should run. I'd vote for you for sure."
"Me too." The third girl said. She had darker skin and jet black hair that was extremely long. She reminded me if Princess Tiara. I giggle to myself at the thought.
"We'll see girls. Harry and I have got to get going. I'll see you girls at school tomorrow, okay? Oh, by the way, this is Harry!" Lauren finally spoke up.
"I'm Shaunie!" The darker girl spoke as she held out her hand for me to shake. I did.
"I'm Becca. Nice to meet you!" The shorter girl spoke. Her voice was rather high.
"And I'm Jenny! You have nice hair!"
"I'm Harry. It's lovely to meet you all." I had never introduced myself to anyone, cause no one ever cared to get to know me.
"Bye guys!" All three of the girls said together.
"Have a great rest of the day!" Lo yelled as she waved goodbye to the girls. Lauren seemed to be friendly with everyone she met. Except for Jake, of course. We were halfway out of the door, when we were interrupted again. This time, by a man who I may recall being the principal.
"Mr. Murphy! How are you?" She spoke cheerfully.
"I'm great, Ms. Donell. How are you?" I've never had a conversation with a principal and I felt a bit awkward standing here.
"I'm actually sound really well. I made a new friend today." She said gesturing toward me. Mr. Murphy shook my hand then resumed his conversation with Lauren.
"That's good. Ms. Donell?" His tone grew serious and his facial expression changed.
"Yes?" She spoke softly.
"Do you have a clue as to why Jake Williams has a swollen jaw?"
"I may."
"Ms. Donell, you know fighting is not tolerated here. That goes for you too, Mr. Styles. I would've expected more from you, Ms. Donell. You've never been a problem here."
"I know, Mr. Murphy. I take full responsibility. But, bullying isn't tolerated here either. That's why I hit him. He was bullying Harry."
"Is this true, Mr. Styles?"
What do I do now? Become the school snitch? Or lie?
