Chapter 5

I woke up with a bright red face.
'Did Karma really kiss me, well my forehead or was I just dreaming?'
"knock knock, morning Nagisa" I looked up to see a fully dressed Karma.
"mornin' Karma" I said rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.
"ow" quickly pulling back my hand.
"oh I forgot about my eye hehe" I said with a nervous laugh.
"yea, how's it feeling?" Karma followed up.
"a little sore, just forgot about it.. Some how.." I trailed off a little.
"anyways about last night..." Karma's face almost immediately turned a bright red to match his hair before I continued.
"oh um... Th... " Karma couldn't finish what he was going to say so I just continued.
"sorry for staying the night again, if you want I could find some where else to stay" he looked up at me with confusion.
"oh that, its totally fine, again you can stay here as long as you like."
"what do you mean 'oh that'? What do you think I meant?" some how Karma's face turned even more red than before.
"I called in for you, it seems like you just needed a day to relax a little" Karma said walking over to the bed avoiding my questions.
"thanks, but what about you? Are you just doing the normal skipping thing?"
"guess so... So tell me about yesterday why you were so upset."
I froze, how am I supposed to say 'because I am in love with you' or something like that?
I sighed before answering.
"did um Okuda say anything to you yesterday, like around lunch?"
"why are you bringing me up? I'm asking about yo...." he seemed to get it by then or at least I hoped he did.
"yea, when I saw Okuda walking to your desk I don't know why but I started to freak out and earlier when we were walking, Kayano said that Okuda was gonna confess to you so that's also why my face was so red." I quickly said before looking up at Karma.
"oh, um ok. I guess its time to explain my part a little, well when you were running out of the room that's when Okuda confessed, I told her that I only see her as a friend, then I went looking for you but I went back because I couldn't find you and when I got back to the class to see if you were there. I got really worried when you weren't but then you showed up eventually so I didn't worry as much" Karma put and arm around me. He feels so warm.
"Well, um I think I know why I got so upset, it took me a while to figure it out though."
"And what would that be?"
I froze, was this my chance to tell him, would he get upset to think I'm weird?
"um, er... I-I think..."
Ring ring phone call ring ring
"sorry Nagisa, Ritsu is calling me." Karma walked out of the room for a moment.
'Well at least I have a little more time'
I layed back down on the bed.
"Nagisa something happened at the school, they need me down there real quick, I'll be back in a minute, I have my phone so if ya need me just call."
"oh, ok be careful" I said with the cutest smile I could do.
"don't worry, I'll be fine... You can tell me what you were gonna say later, I'm keeping ya to it" a smirk went across his face before he left.
