John pov

I sighed as I layed down for the night with Dave beside me. He held me close in his arms and I rested my head on his chest.

"John... Why do we live like this..." He said taking off his shades.

"There is no other way to live Dave" I said calmly and he started to shake.

"Why! Why bother living if the world has gone to hell! There's no hope for anything and just were either going to starve or be eaten by those things t-that we used to call our friends..." His voice started to crack and I sat up to hold Dave close.

"Dave we live to be together because who knows where we go when we die Dave.. no one... I don't wanna risk loosing you.." he nodded and I kissed his forehead.

Dave's pov

I screamed on the inside John held me close as I was breaking down inside. I can't deal with this anymore. Living hell. Literally. I cuddled with John until he drifted then slipped out of his grasp. I teared up grabbing my katana and put my shades down beside John. I love him but I can't do this anymore.. after giving him one last kiss on the forehead and giving him the bunny out of my bag I ran off. The streets were dark, oddly enough some street lamps still stay on to this day. I let it alone and just kept running.

"WAIT DID YOU HEAR THAT" I heard karkat. Fuck of all times why now!

"All I Hear Is You Yelling." I heard kanaya but it was soft. Fuck their foot steps are getting closer! I quickly raised my katana and closed my eyes seeing John's smiling face.

"I'm sorry love... Maybe I'll see you again someday..." I whispered and stabbed the sword threw my heart I fell limp, hitting the ground with a thud the last thing I heard was rapid foot steps and Rose scream my name... Sorry John.... Sorry Bro.. just sorry guys.. maybe I'll see you all again in a better life.
