CHAPTER SEVEN.

Fifteen minutes later I had driven us through the shortcut my dad showed me and we arrived at school. Milton opened the door to get down.
"Go home with Cindy Meyers today. I have a few errands to run after school."
"Sure " He said delightedly.
"Hey egghead, " He turned around and rolled his eyes.
"What is it now Amanda? "
"Don't do anything you're not supposed to be doing got it? "
"What are you even talking about?"
"I see the way you stare at her booty when she walks", I said finding a space at the parking lot.
"Shut up!", he yelled then he took off.
Cindy Meyers was in Milton's class and she lived opposite our house.
Mum and I knew Milton had a huge crush on her(I mean who wouldn't know? The guy keeps a journal about her) even Dad knew...and it was difficult for him to even tell the difference between a blouse and a top; and he worked at a fashion company!
I parked the car, took my stuff out and got down. Then I checked my watch. "Holy Molly!! "
School started at eight and it was exactly two minutes to time! You're probably wondering why I was freaking the hell out. Well this is why; that creep of a teacher had us coming in as early as seven forty-five for a stupid History test. Now I couldn't complain because I needed those grades to fill out my college application. Yes you got that right, it was the stupid Barry Bones! Shit hurt me to the core that I couldn't do nothing about it. So I rushed to my locker to get some stuff and headed straight for class.
"Ah! Miss Centre-Storm you're right on time. We were just about getting started! "said the one eyed monster! (Thank Jezebel! )
I took my seat and we had the test.
The rest of the day sped by so fast I felt dizzy. The closing bell brought me out of my thoughts and back to reality!
"...And don't forget to bring your books next week, we're going to be acting out the play right here in class, have a nice weekend everybody!" Miss Pinnellopi, the literature teacher, blurted out right before everyone could rush out of the class.
"...And oh Amanda, can I see you for a moment before you leave? "
That caught my attention! So I walked to the front of the class to her desk. Everyone was out by that time. Then she went like,"You seemed a little bit distracted today is anything the problem? "
A little?! The fuck was she talking about? This woman better get her grammar straight for a literature tutor, and it ain't even funny, at all. Oh shit! I bet that was the time I was putting finishing touches to the image I'd been trying to capture in my drawing book for weeks now. You remember that right?
The abandoned oil factory I told y'all about. Yhh that's right, I was finally able to draw that piece of shit (talk about big mouth ). Who's the boss?!
"It's nothing ma'am! " I said shifting all my weight onto my other foot.
"Then you better getchur self together! I don't wanchu ruining my class next week witchur behavior, you got that?! "
"Yes ma'am! "
I hurried out of the class and passed by my locker to put back a few things. Then I sped to the parking lot, started the car and headed straight for the town library .
When I got to the abandoned oil factory I slowed down, I didn't know why but my instincts told me to. Then I saw why. At the very top of the front door were the inscriptions 'S.S 1863'. I don't have to explain what that meant! Y'all should be smart.
I stepped on the accelerator and drove as fast as I could to the library.
