Have you ever felt insane?
It's the greatest rush in your veins, knowing that you see a world most others don't! One road will lead you to your destination at first, but the next, you can count on finding yourself hanging upside down from a high up point. The birds swim and the fish fly. Our clocks run counter clockwise, and a Reality citizen would die from a Wonderland-heart attack. There are no laws or expectations--unless fear of the Queen of Hearts counts.
Then, you must be in Wonderland.
Wonderland is real as anything and anyone can be there...even you. Your ailing nana with dementia, the psycho mass murderer on the news, the alcoholic husband that beats his family down, the drug addict that can't stop...and even you.
The purpose of Wonderland is to store these damaged minds in one safe place. Otherwise, chaos would overrule Reality when the mentally insane are not left idle in Wonderland, but let loose to haunt Reality.
This is the place where insanity runs wild - people from Reality are left in here for the rest of their lives when their mental state has collapsed.
Alicia is one special exception.
Her mind was always intact, but her soul was swept to Wonderland when the Creators led her through the rabbit hole. She is aware of being originally from Reality, but some say she was meant to call Wonderland her home.
The rest believe that she is just as insane as anyone else from Reality.
Insanity will lead you to the rabbithole...
Ironically, anyone born in Wonderland is immune to insanity. Instead their obligations as dutiful citizens is to keep the idle minds idle and distracted from ever returning and causing harm to Reality.
There is order in disorder, and clarity in chaos that only a Wonderland citizen could see.
Them...and Alicia.
