Chapter 1-How It All Began

*12-year-old Hazel POV*

Today is the day where I go camping every year with my family. I was in the car with my mom waiting for my dad. 5 minutes later my dad came. 

~3 hours later~

It has been three hours ever since we got in this car! I wonder how long it takes to get to the forest! Like come on, it can't be that far! I decided to go to sleep and by the time that I would be awake we should probably be there. When I put my head on the window and was about to go to sleep I heard my parents screaming! I jumped up and saw that a big red semi truck was coming our way! I couldn't do anything I just sat there shocked, my dad was trying to steer the wheel to the side but he couldn't. Everything seemed to go in slow motion. The car was turned over and my parents and I were being flipped around! I tried to hold onto my parent's hand but I couldn't find it anywhere! I kept looking and looking but I couldn't find them. I started smelling smoke! I started coughing like crazy and tried to get out! Once I couldn't figure out how to get out I decided that this would be the time where I die. Then it hit me! The little window that could open! I stood up and pried open the window! Once I got the window open and was climbing out, there was a man that saw me and pointed at me! I was scared was he going to try to help me or hurt me even more! That's when everything started going blurry and I couldn't see anything! The only thing that I remembered was being carried out of the car by the same man that pointed at me and was put into an ambulance.

~The Next Day~

When I woke up all I saw was white and when I turned my head I saw a nurse reading a magazine. I groaned on how bad my head hurts

"Ugh, my head hurts," I said

"Oh, you're awake! Well, I will get the doctor for you Hazel." the nurse said

"Wait! before you go, where are my parents! I need them!" I started to cry

"Oh darling I'm sorry but I have no contact  where your parents are, they just sent me here to watch over you..."

"Oh okay thanks,"

I just layed there while the nurse went to get a doctor to check up on me. I decided to watch Telly since I don't have anything to do. I  grabbed the remote and turned on the Telly. I was scrolling through the channels when I saw something caught my eye! It was the British dance group 'Diversity' I'm such a huge fan, you don't want to know how many posters I have of them! I probably have around 20 posters of them! Mitchell is my favorite, though! I love him to pieces! I know a lot of things about Mitchell! I still don't understand how every girl goes for Perri. Okay, I admit that Perri is kinda cute and all and he has such a big afor of hair and funny. But I still don't understand how they could like Perri! But, I guess that's my opinion, though! They were at an interview talking about the upcoming tour 'Genesis' I already bought the ticket for the-the first show in Glasgow the SSE Hydro! I was so excited but then I realized what if my parents are dead and they can't take me to the show... No, stop that Hazel, their not dead! I thought. The thought flew away from my head and I just started watching the Telly again. I was peacefully watching the Telly when the doctor came in. 

"Hello, I'm Dr.Slater and all I have to do is do some checkups on you and give you some meds and then you could rest or watch the Telly after I'm done!" Dr.Slater said

"okay, but first where are my parents?"

"oh....I'm sorry for your lost Hazel but your parents didn't make it, We thought they were going to make it, they didn't lose that much blood and we thought they were going to be okay. But, at the last minute, they both died...I'm sorry Hazel but you're going have to go to an adoption center...I'm so sorry...but maybe we should do your checkups to take your mind off of them for a while and then you could watch the Telly. I heard that the dance group 'Diversity' were on today for an Interviewing, my daughter loves them so much. Anyway, shall we start." Dr.Slater said.

"umm.. sure y-yeah," I said I was trying so hard to control my tears, But that didn't happen some tears came out of my eyes, this can't be happening It can't! I don't want to go to an adoption center. Well, I guess I don't have any choice after all my parents were the only ones left in my family... After the checkups and everything I went back to watching 'Diversity' They were now dancing, I watched them but most of the time I would watch Mitch dance! When Mitch did the flip I freaked out and started fangirling! I don't know why I freaked out over a flip! I guess that's just a fangirling thing to me! Apparently, I fell asleep when I was watching them because when I woke up it was night time. I decided to try to go back to sleep. Next thing you know I was back to sleep...

A/N-Okay so this is my first book,I actually have written books but I deleted them because I didn't like them or they were boring and didn't make since...So this is kinda my first book. Yeah, anyway if you guys don't know who 'Diversity' is then you have been living under a rock! Na I'm just kidding! 'Diversity' is a British street dance group which formed in 2007 but didn't go on Britain's got talent until 2009. There were 12 members but four left to do some things. The 12 members are 'Ashley Banjo,Jordan Banjo (Brothers),Sam Craske,Mitchell Craske (Brothers),Jamie McNaughton,Matthew McNaughton,Ian McNaughton (Brothers),Warren Russel,Ashton Russel (Brothers),Terry Smith,Perri Kiely,Ike Chuks (friends)' In 2009 when they entered Britain's Got Talent everybody went on besides Ashton (Warren's brother) They won 2009 Britain's got talent! They all are still in the group besides the McNaughton brothers. They do workshops at their studio and show kids routines and sometimes the kids/teens get to perform with them at a live show! I also want to let you guys know that I'm from the USA, so I don't know any places in the Uk. Well, I guess that's it bye!
