A Happy Meeting

Nepeta Leijon~

I woke up later than usual and kind of freaked out. I checked the time and sighed, relieved. I still had an hour and thirty minutes before I had to meet Gamzee at a nearby forest about 10 minutes away from my hive, or 5 minutes if I ran! Gamzee seemed like a really nice guy and I couldn't wait to meet him! I have a feeling our friendship will establish quite quickly, in fact! He was goofy and didn't seem very judgemental!  I smiled, excited about gaining a new friend today! I quickly hopped out of my recuperacoon, cleaned off, and dressed myself in my usual attire. My usual gray jeans, black t-shirt with my symbol on it, and my long, olive hunting jacket. To top the outfit off, I had my blue tail and blue kitty hat! It's absolutely perfect if you ask me!

After lounging around for a  while, I checked the time and saw that I still had about 45 minutes. I decided to start heading over there, taking my time, and just chill there for a moment. I could probably think about all my ships while there. I yawned. That's funny, I thought, I'm a little sleepy. I shook the thought and headed outside, strolling around. It was a rather pretty day today.

After about 12 minutes, I arrived at the spot of our choice. It was nice and cheery. A little spot in the middle of the forested area. A naked area in the tree tops that exposed a little sunny patch of grass in the middle of the forest, with a diameter of about 25 feet.

I sat in the grass and began to think for a while. I imagined different scenarios on how it would go, how he would react, and what he could possibly look like. I don't exactly remember thinking any further as my eyes started to slowly close and I fell onto my back, being pulled into sleep.

Gamzee Makara~

Aww, motherfuck! I'm gonna be late! I thought as I quickened my pace and jumped through a specific gate that would trasport me somewhere relatively close to the requested area for our meet-up. I checked the time. Great, I still have 10 minutes to get there. I started to slow down a bit, admiring the scenery. Nepeta sure has a sweet place. It must be awesome to live here.

I headed into the forest and began walking towards the meeting place. I got lost a few times, but I'm pretty sure this was the right place to go into. I kept walking. Nep-sis seemed like a sweet chick. She didn't seem all stuck-up and shit. She seemed kind, friendly, and fun, which was pretty motherfucking sweet, if you ask me.

I finally got to the designated area and looked around. Suddenly, I spotted a small, female troll, fast-asleep in the middle of the grass. "D'aww, how motherfucking cute!" I exclaimed. I walked over and knelt down beside her.

Nepeta Leijon~

"...nepeta..."

"...yo, nep-sis!..."

"...Hey Nepeta, is that you?..."

"Nepeta?"

I opened my eyes as I realized that the voices I was hearing were actually a part of reality. My eyes fluttered open and I was face-to-face with another troll who had clown makeup smeered all over his face. He didn't look very clownish, though.  He was actually somewhat... appealing.

"Yeah, it's me... G-gamzee?"

"Aw, sweet! You're even cuter in real life!"

Nepeta couldn't help but blush softly

"Hee hee, thanks..."

"So Gamzee, would you mind moving so I can get up? You're kind of hofuring ofur me"

"And you use cat-puns even when you talk! That's motherfucking sweet! And sure. Sorry 'bout that"

"Thanks"

Nepeta sat up and looked at the troll sitting before her.

"Wow! I pawsitively love your hair! It's like a big, furocious mane!"

"Thanks, sis! I like your hat"

"Thank you furry much! Hee hee!"

"...Soo, what do we talk about?"

"We can talk about ships or feelings!"

"Sure!"

"Sounds purrfect! So, what are some things you ship?"

"Hmm... Well, I'm obviously motherfucking pale for Kar-bro, considering we're moirails and all. I think me and Tav-bro is a pretty sweet ship... In fact, I'm up and motherfucking flushed for him... Are you flushed for anyone, Nepeta?"

"Actually, I am! Coincindentally... it's, um, Karkitty..."

"You're motherfucking flushed for Karbro? That's adorable!"

"Sh-shut up!"

We continued talking for a while. Gamzee gave me some advice and insisted that I confess to Karkitty. I thought that I would give it a shot.

"What if he rejects me...?"

"Then it's his motherfucking loss! You're a sweet chick and any troll'd be lucky to be matesprits someone as awesome as you!"

"...Alright, I'll do it, then. Thanks!"

"No motherfucking problem"

"But you have to tell Tafuros!"

"I'm not so sure about that..."

"Come on! He'd have to be completely insane to reject a troll as wonderful as you! You're really cool, Gamzee, and I think it's worth a shot!"

"Alright. Hey, it's getting pretty late. You should probably go home"

"Okay! You too! I'm glad we became furiends! Good luck with Tafuros!"

"Hey, hold the motherfuck up, sis. You think we're just gonna up and part ways now? Shit, no. I'm walking you to your hive. What kind of friend would let their friend walk alone in the dark?"

"Fine! Let's go, then!"

We started walking to my hive and were entertained the entire time with conversation. We finally got to my hive. I let him inside and showed him around a bit. Then, I walked him back outside.

"Goodluck with Kar-bro"

"And good luck with Tafuros!!"

"Today was motherfucking fun. I enjoyed hanging out with someone as awesome as you, sis!"

"Aw! Thanks!! I had fun talking with you, too! We should do this again sometime!"

"Fuck yeah! Well, I guess this is goodbye"

"Bye!"

I couldn't even believe what happened next. I'm still trying to process whether it was real or not. Before I knew it, Gamzee leaned down and kissed my cheek, letting his lips linger there for a few seconds.

"Woah! I'm motherfucking sorry!"

Gamzee pulled away and my cheeks filled with soft, olive pools. My mouth went agape and my eyes widened a bit.

"Fuck! Sorry! I... I didn't mean to... Shit... I'm just gonna up and go now..."

And with that, he turned around and sprinted away.

I was just kissed.
