Nathan’s POV

I went along with Emily to the police station to find out more about the ‘murder’ that happened. On the way to the police station Emily just kept talking about Grace, how innocent she was and how she never hurt anyone and always kept to herself, never talked much busy in her own beautiful world.

I felt proud of myself for doing the right thing by freeing the soul of an angel who was trapped in this sinister world.

“Why are you smiling?” asked Emily looking confused.

“No I am not smiling” I said confidently.

“Okay” she said and remained silent.

We soon reached the station and I went inside along with her. The officer started questioning her; she answered all of them while mourning for her friend. I remained silent and tried to comfort her by holding her hand in mine.

The questioning soon finished and we were allowed to leave the station. I dropped Emily to her house she looked exhausted and so was I. I wanted to go home and relax have a good sleep.

NEXT DAY

Beep beep beep….

I groggily opened my eyes and looked at the clock it was 6 am. I got up and went have a shower, after having a nice warm shower I quickly got ready and left for the restaurant. Last night was just peaceful and I enjoyed every bit of it.

But they are many angels left who has to freed from this nasty world, I will soon find some innocent angel and free her soul.

 “Good Morning Sir” said one of my workers.

I wished him back and made my way towards my cabin, I sat there quietly and did some paper work, after I finished my work I sat calmly in my chair enjoying the quietness around me. I am a very reserved person I like to stay quiet as much as possible.

I don’t like people who talk all the time; it disturbs my mind and irritates me beyond limits. I try as much as possible to stay away from these people that are the reason I avoid every social gathering, I stay at home or at Spero.

I glanced at the clock it showed 12 pm. Time to inspection, I thought and got up from my chair and exited my cabin. They were hardly any people and I couldn’t find any innocent soul. I sighed feeling slightly angry.

As I was going back to my cabinet I heard a voice which made me stop.

“Excuse me” she said.

I closed my eyes and played he voice in mind again and again, her voice is so amazing.

“Excuse me?” she said again.

This time I turned around to see the most innocent looking angel I have ever seen.

“Yes?” I replied calmly.

“Umm Hi my name is Adele Jane Danielle, I work for S&S Company as an intern and I am here to conduct a marketing survey, I have a few question to ask if you don’t mind.” She said and smiled.

She looked so pure and her smile did something to me which I could not understand. My next angel I thought but the thought of killing her felt wrong and I was shocked by my own thinking. I shook my head to remove that thought out of my main.

“Please it will be quick” she added.

“Okay” I said and walked her towards one of the tables, we sat opposite each other.
