Chapter 5

Recap:

Ashlyn's P.O.V.

Luke should be here any minute. I'm waiting by the door when I got a text from Emerson.

Emerson: Have fun!
Ashlyn: Thanks! I will. I'm sure of it.

Then I heard the door bell. I stood there for a minute to make it look like I wasn't being a staler waiting for him..

I opened the door, there he was, he was so handsome.
"Shall we?" He said. "We shall!" I said.

We hooked arms and he led me to his car.

"You look beautiful." he whispered in my ear causing my cheeks to heat up. He opened the door for me and then closed it after I got in.  He went over to his side and got in.

When we stopped at a red light, Luke gave me a blindfold.

"Whats this for?" I asked raising a eyebrow

"Just put it on." he said then the light went green and the car started moving again. I did as told and put the blindfold on

"Um.... LUKe........."

"Yeah?"

"Its kinda dark in here!" I joked

""Really I thought it was bright" he said sarcastically

I just rolled my eyes even though he couldn't see

- 5 minutes later

"Are we there yet?" I asked Luke getting annoyed

"No, not yet" he said back

- 5 minutes later

"Are we there yet?" I asked again

"No" he

- 5 minutes later

"Are we there yet?" I asked Luke yet again

"Nope" he said back

- 5 minutes later

"Are we there yet?" I asked Luke yet again now getting impatient

"No not yet just be patient." he said back

- 5 minutes later

"Are we there yet?" I asked hoping for a yes

"Almost!" well close enough

- 5 minutes later

"Are we there yet?" I asked Lu

"yep!" he said getting out the car then I heard my door open.

"Can I take the blindfold off yet?" I asked while Luke grabbed my hand to guide me.

"Nope" he said popping the p.

"Well why not?"

"Because where were going is  a surprise!" he said happily

"But, I hate surprises"  he just ignored me and kept walking 

after like 5 minutes of walking  we finally stopped

"You can take it off now!" Luke said

"Yes!" I said taking the blindfold off.

I looked at my surroundings and my jaw dropped. It was a breathe taking view at a field. Their was a picnic blanket with a basket set on it which I assumed was food cause that's what picnic baskets usually carry. There was a river right beside the field, and a park right crossed the street.

I turned to Luke and had a huge grin on my face. I gave him a side hug which he returned.

"This is beautiful!" I looked up to look at him again
