    -AT THE P.E. COURT-
    
                          
    Me: *Sitting on the floor in the lounge listening to what the coach is saying*
    
                          
    Coach: Okay. Liel, Your mother gave me your change of clothes and I put them in the locker room. Your locker is 56 so go change then I’ll explain what we’re doing.
    
                          
    Me: *Nods, goes to change, then comes back and sits back on the floor*
    
                          
    Coach: So, we will be doing Volleyball week. Ummm… *Starts choosing teams with 4 in each group* ...Liam, you’re with Imani, Liel, and Niall. Go to the fourth side of the net. (The net is in the shape of a square.) 
    
                          
    <We nod and do as told>
    
                          
    Me: Okay, I know who to play Volleyball, but I don’t understand what we’re trying to do.
    
                          
    Ni: *Finally starts talking* Right. So, the rest of the other teams pitches the balls to us and we have to try to get as many as we can into the inside of the square net till the timer goes off. Get it?
    
                          
    Me: Yeah.
    
                          
    <The start whistle goes and we start hitting balls into the square>
    
                          
    Me: I got it! *Hits the ball, with my shirt going up a bit*
    
                          
    Li: *Nudges Niall* Lad, what are you staring at?
    
                          
    Ni: *Snaps out of his thoughts and shakes his head* Nothing…
    
                          
    Li: Really? I saw you looking at her. You like her, don’t you?
    
                          
    Ni: What? N-no I don’t.
    
                          
    Li: Mate, I saw the way you were looking at her when you explained what we were doing earlier.
    
                          
    Ni: That doesn’t mean I like her. I can look at a girl however I want.
    
                          
    Li: Oh, puh-lease.
    
                          
    -AFTER THE GAME-
    
                          
    Me: *Walking to the court* Why didn’t you boys help?
    
                          
    Li: Were talking. It happens all the time.
    
                          
    Ni: *Nods, staying quiet*
    
                          
    Imani: Niall, what happened to you today? You hardly talked!
    
                          
    Ni: *Quietly* Sorry.
    
                          
    Imani: C’mon Niall! What happened to the boy who never starts talking about Nando’s? *Whispers in my ear* Do you know what Nando’s is? 
    
                          
    Me: *Whispers back* Yeah.
    
                          
    Imani: *Still whispering* Ask him what Nando’s is and he’ll be talking. I know it.
    
                          
    Me: Okay. Umm, Niall?
    
                          
    Ni: Yeah?
    
                          
    Me: What’s Nando’s?
    
                          
    Ni: *Starts explaining what Nando’s is, exagerating over it*
    
                          
    -AFTER A LONG WHILE-
    
                          
    Ni: *Still explaining what Nando’s is*
    
                          
    Me: *Rubs my temples* Okay, Niall, I know what Nando’s is. I’ve always have.
    
                          
    Ni: What? How?
    
                          
    Me: Because I love to eat.
