"What?". Lacey asked. "Show me". Annie said again. "We get both men and women here at the club". She said. "You need to learn to work with both". "Okay". Lacey sighed and told Annie to put on some music. Annie nodded. "Now I saw Dylan lead last time,". Annie said. "You need to learn to lead on your own, there's not going to be anyone to help you". Annie added. "Fine". Lacey said. She's worked so hard the entire night. She wanted to leave. She wanted to quit. She didn't want to sell her soul, but she already did. She couldn't leave now. "Begin". Annie told her. Lacey sighed and thought about what Dylan showed her. It made her feel safe. Lacey made eye contact with Annie and grinded her body on her. She moved her hips with Annie's and watched how Annie judged her. Lacey kept thinking about what Dylan said and how she felt safe. She eventually watched Annie grab her hair like Dylan did. "Alright, that's good enough". Annie said and stopped her. "It's fine, but you need to work on it". "Thanks". Lacey said in a nice tone. But really felt judged the whole time. It wasn't like how Dylan made her feel for a few minutes. It wasn't like what she felt on the pole. It wasn't like what she felt when she watched Annie and Dylan. She didn't feel that way. "I guess experience comes with years of working here". Lacey told herself. .. Ever popped up a minute later. "Alright, Lace". "My shift is done, we just need to go change". She said. "Oh nice outfit". She smiled. "Thanks". Lacey said. Lacey noticed Ever's outfit. Ever had on a pair of black boots, with black booty shorts and a black long sleeve top. It was more her style. "You too", Lacey laughed and went to change back into normal clothes. .. They would get paid the next night since Dylan had to finish filling out the paperwork and making out the checks. .. They went back home late to their dorm and Ever grabbed them takeout from a local shop that stayed open late. By now it was 2am when the club closed. ... "Every shooting star reminds me when Hollywood lost the brightest". -Lauren's Song, Breathe Carolina. ... "Some wanna see you crash and burn
And criticize your every word
I'm trying to keep from going insane
Ain't that the way of this whole damn thing

Oh, trying to be something more

Nobody's gonna love you if
You can't display a way to capture this
Nobody's gonna hold your hand
And guide you through
No it's up for you to understand
Nobody's gonna feel your pain
When all is done
And it's time for you to walk away". -Scene Two Roger Rabbit, Sleeping With Sirens.
