I walk to the common room to put my stuff up for lunch. Ooh lunch its always so good here, not as good as home but still good. As I walk into the common room, I see Malfoy and Pansy, she is all over him and you can tell he is down to the last straw with her. I smile, and put a hop in my step. As I pass the beginning of the table, I notice guys gawking at me, and girls glaring at me. Sorry that I'm me. I find my usual seat, and sit next to my best friend, Morgan Hawke. ( Hawke is another pureblooded family.) She smiles at me, and starts her 2 hour talk.
After Morgan lets me go to my third class of the day, I wave bye to her and turned around, smiling. People let me pass like always, but unfortunately I ran into Pansy. " Umm, excuse you?" I scoffed at her and said. " Excuse me? Your the one that interrupted my walk to class. So realise that your 'boyfriend' doesn't want you and get out of my way." My hand is resting on my wand as I pursed my lips. She gritted her teeth and growled at me. Really growling? " what are you a dog? Are you gonna try and pounce on me next?" I heard a few snickers and giggles from the crowd. She balled her fist and turned on her heels and stormed away. I smiled in triumph.
I walked into class and sat down, then the teacher walks in. Wheww, that was close, don't wanna break my streak of not being late. I look up and see Professor Trelawney looking at me. " ma'am?" I asked a little nervous. " I asked if you know what the
Looking crystal is" I says cocking her head to the side slightly. I give her a soft smile before responding. " yes ma'am, the looming crystal is a instrument used to look into a persons future." She smiles in delight at my answer. As she continues with the lesson, I glance around the room and finally noticing my partner, his face is flushed and he keeps glancing over at me. "Yes?" I ask softly, noticing he's in Hufflepuff. He snaps he s head in my direction and his eyes widen in fear. "I-I didn't say anything, m-miss, ma'am." He folds his hands in front of him nervously. I roll my eyes, resting my head on my hand. " You keep looking over here like you have something to say, so if you don't then pay attention." I snap, gathering my things together, before walking out of the room when class is dismissed. I walk outside into the courtyard and talk a deep breath in, enjoying the fall weather. I walk to a bench and sit my books beside me before I start reading again. The days almost over. I think to myself reading a couple of chapters before walking to the common room, to start on my work.

The past few weeks have become the same cycle of eat, class, class, eat, break, class, eat, sleep. I sigh as I look for a new book to read, knowing I've read over half of the books here. I end up just grabbing a book and checking it out. I sit at a table and begin reading. Lost in my own world I don't notice Malfoy sit beside me. "What are you reading Gray?" Malfoy asks startling me. I gasp rather loudly and put my hand on my chest, calming down my heart, once I realise its only Malfoy. "Don't walk up on me like that, Malfoy. " I say marking my page and closing it. "I've been sitting here for five minutes." He says with a smirk. I roll my eyes and turn my body to him. "What do you want?" I ask slightly annoyed. "Don't get your panties in a woad, I was making sure you okay but obviously your busy" he snaps, standing up. "You never want to know if I'm okay" I say rolling my eyes. " Go take your lovey dovey self to Pansy, she'll enjoy it." I mock, standing up and smirking at him as I walk to the common room for the night.
