Brendon ran the whole way home, holding the box closely to his chest. It was a store delivery, but these had to be for him. They had him standing with the guy from 1979! That just couldn't be a coincidence.

Brendon tripped up the steps to his family's dark home. It didn't seem like anyone was there at the moment, which meant that Brendon could get to his room that much faster. After slipping past the door, he rushed up the stairs and into his room just to the side of the carpeted steps.

He kept the box close as he shoved the door closed. He paused for a moment before sliding his desk chair in front of the door as well. This was weird enough without having someone barge in and start to question him about his whereabouts as well as the polaroids about to be scattered across his floor.

"What kind of witchcraft will you present me with today?" He muttered to himself as he sat on his carpeted floor.

He opened the box with much more care compared to the first time. The white squares stared back at him, as if they invited him to dump them across the floor. So, that's exactly what he did.

Some squares flipped to their photo side immediately following the dumping of the box, but others remained defiant. Brendon slid his hand over them to scatter them further across the floor. His eyes scanned over the squares, curious as to what picture would appear.

There were several blurred party scene photos once again that Brendon quickly separated from the others. Once those were out of the way, it didn't take him long to find the polaroids that formed into the bigger picture.

"Just like last time..." Brendon whispered, furrowing his eyebrows.

Would it really be another large photo of himself with Dallon? Brendon could already see that familiar, brown hair...

"Brendon!"

He jumped at the sound of his mother's voice on the other side of his bedroom door. She was jiggling his doorknob while hitting her palm against it.

"Brendon? Is that you, honey, open the door."

"J-just a second, mom!" Brendon yelled, scrambling to scoop up all the photos scattered across his room. If he was caught with all of these, he would have no way to explain them.

"Not a second, now!" His mother's voice demanded.

Brendon felt himself panic as he grabbed the box the polaroids had arrived in. His mother could loose her temper so easily. Even over something as simple as opening a door.

"I'm changing, mom!" Brendon lied, managing to get every last photo into the postmarked box. He was closing it to hide under his bed when she spoke up again.

"And I'm waiting! Now open this door, Brendon Boyd Urie."

Brendon slid the box under his bed, pulling down his blanket to cover it just in case. He quickly rose to his feet and hurried over to the door.

He moved the chair and opened the door to see his mother waiting on the other side with crossed arms. "You look lovely today, mom."

"Cut the crap, where were you last night and this morning?" She asked, staring at Brendon while waiting for an answer.

"Aahh..." Brendon bit his lip. How was he supposed to tell his mom he went back in time before he was born? He was sure that would go over really well... "I was at Ryro's house." He finally answered, quietly.

His mother looked unconvinced. Her lip pursed at Brendon as she shifted her weight on her hips. "Really?" She questioned, "So if I call his mother, she'll vouch for you?"
