Inferiority Complex

"You're kidding, right?" She laughed awkwardly and avoided her eyes but Jungkook seemed serious.

He placed a hand over hers to get her to look at him. He felt her tremble a bit, meaning she's nervous.

"How did you know?" He asked still in a serious tone.

Eunha looked at him confusedly. "Know what?"

"That I'm just kidding?" Jungkook broke into a smile and let go of Eunha's hand.

Eunha's face was blank as she stared at Jungkook. So he was just kidding?! She thought it's serious!

"You're so random." Eunha doesn't know why she felt frustrated about that joke. In fact she wanted to punch him on the nose for what he did. He made fun of her and she thought it's serious!

"Let's just finish this so we can rest.. Thanks for the cookies." She mouthed in a lazy tone.

Jungkook laughed harder without noticing how disappointed Eunha looked.

"What?! He did that?! He's becoming an alien.. Joking in the middle of the night?!" SinB laughed when Eunha told her about what Jungkook did a few nights ago. They are in the studio to record their parts for the new album.

She wanted to drop the thing but ever since she cannot sleep properly. She kept thinking what if it's true? What should she say if in case it's true? The thought affected her too much.

"I wish he never made that joke! I'm so dead!" Eunha slapped her forehead and sighed heavily.

SinB noticed she is serious so she stopped laughing. Eunha needs a serious talk.

"We should call Sowon unnie." She said and called Sowon who is resting on the opposite corner.

Yerin, Umji and Yuju went out to get some noodles so there are only the three of them in the audio room.

Eunha told Sowon what happened.

"The problem is.." Eunha sighed again when she finished telling Sowon everything. "I think it made me realize, I like him.. Like.. I'm romantically attached or something... I thought it's because he looks like my brother but now that he asked me that question, I realized I like him as...a man!"

SinB and Sowon looked at each other worriedly.

"And you can't be a couple because?" SinB asked.

"Because!" Eunha couldn't believe they still don't get why.

"First, he doesn't feel the same way.. Second, I'm their manager.. We should not mix personal interest with business.. Third, we're both idols now.. All eyes are on us.. It's hard.." She wanted to continue but Sowon finally cut her.

"I get it.. But you know Eunha, the only problem is if his feelings.. If he likes you too, then all the other things won't matter.. But if he doesn't...if it's true that he's just kidding when he asked that.. Then comes the real problem.." Sowon explained. She had some experiences on dating before and non actually worked out well.
