THE SEA OF STARS was something that I've never seen before, like nothing I thought I'd experience in my own little world. It was almost...amazing. But I don't know how to describe it, it's like an unknown emotion about the burst out somewhere...
The sight of seeing 'her' snatched me from the sight of the sky. Her lips were faintly turned down and she just stared up at me. Her huge hazel eyes all big and wide, with no words or expressions.
My eyes jolt around for a bit until I feel a soft substance glide across my lips. I look down to see her holding her tiny finger against my lips. Her lips finally turn up into a smile. More like....a smirk. Her right eye seemed to have changed from its usual hazel, to a brown.
Which was odd....
Like everything else about this...
She drops her hand down to her side and spins around, still in front of me. "Look around." She said slowly, "Take a good minute to observe this roof that we're standing on."
And, that's what I did. I slowly scanned my eyes across the roof that we stood silently on.
The concrete roof was dirty and mixed with a bundle of colours: a jet black, an icky grey and a mucky green. Each corner of the building was built had an slight edge of a step that leaned off onto the streets.
I then look down at little me and see that her innocent little smile of her's and she takes my hand again. Intertwining her little fingers with mine and she softly whispers, "It's time." She then smirks.
"W-what?"
Tears then start to storm out of her eyes and her smirk softens. "Bye, Karin." She said, before running full speed towards the edge of the building.
I lunge forward, reaching one of my hands out far and wide, trying to stop me from running off the edge. I screamed her name, louder and louder each time. But....she didn't stop.
Her two little feet were ripped off the surface of the building and I see as she falls down. I rush off towards the edge and fall to my knees, staring down and seeing little Karin slowly fall down.
Her hair flies up against her soft skin as she stares up at me. Her arms and legs flew up as well, but she didn't seem to care. The closer she got to the concrete floor on the bottom, the more I felt my heart almost stop.
Until, inches away.... Her limp body hits the concrete floor, but not like I expected...
As soon as her body set finger onto the floor, she splashed into what seemed like a huge puddle of water and disappeared. It was like everything below that building was just a watery substance...
I tightly clench my fists at the edge of the building as I slam my eyes shut. Feeling that huge emotion fill my stomach and lead up towards my head...unsure of what to do or how to react.
I was hopeless...
But I remembered.... This is all my little world I created... Anything can happen...
And....this is also just my imagination....
And that...that was just a flashback when I ran away from my parents... I can go back to the real world... Only if I want to...
Yeah...
That's what I'll do..
