Getting Together

Me and Katie had finally fallen asleep that night, well let me say that morning. When we woke up, we was cuddling. She had fell asleep on my arm and we woke up and she was still there. You would think she wouldn't be. Most of the time when people fall asleep cuddling, they wake up on the opposite of the bed. But we didn't, we woke up cuddling to one another. That was amazing. Waking up seeing her face, well that was the best. After we had gotten up and we all had gotten ready to go to the park. Taylor and her baby brother Alex kept telling us we need to get together and that I should ask her out. But that was pretty hard for me, actually really hard for me. I have never asked out a girl face to face. Maybe over a text or a note like we use to do in school, just not face to face. I did want to be with Katie, because she was different and she was one of a kind. So why did I have to suck at this or be so shy? But then Taylor and Alex came up with an idea to write it on the chalk board we had in the living room. I was kinda shy and nervous about the idea at first but only because she was there. But I also couldn't wait to make her mine. She was very beautiful so I had it in my head plenty of people must want her. But I also wanted her. I wanted to make her mine as soon as I could. I hated being shy at that moment. It was only that very moment that I hated being shy, so I knew I would have to overcome that and get over it and just ask her. Well me asking her myself face to face was defiantly out of the question. There was no way I could possibly do that. And then I started thinking about the idea that my friends had given me. So I finally just got the nerve up and grabbed the chalk and I wrote "Will you go out with me" and then I signed my name at the bottom. She didn't answer, maybe because Taylor and Alex kept asking her yes or no repeatedly and she told them I had a mouth I can say it myself. So I just laid my head in her lap and waited about ten minutes and I looked at her and I asked her yes or no. And she said yes. We had gotten together on April 17, 2016 and that was the best day ever. We had went to the park that day and we had a good time. Just being with her was amazing. And she made me feel a way no one has ever made me feel before. We have been together in little time, but we have been through so much that you can only imagine...
