"What the hell are you doing here, Alec?!" I gasp, my eyebrows furrowing at him.

I can tell I'm annoyed at this, but at the same time also confused. Where is Jojo? Why does Alec pick me up for school instead of Jojo or someone?

Alec raises his eyebrows and crossing his arms, "Jojo can't come to school today, so she texted me and asked me to pick you up instead," he says looking straight into my eyes.

"But.. why you? She could ask Davis, Francis, or others," I roll my eyes at him. He only shrugs and smiles.

"I don't know?" He says simply.

I look back to see who's there. Luckily, there's no mom. So I directly close the door and head to his car, a black Chevrolet Malibu. I ignore him as I do. All he does is following me at my back like I'm his princess or something.

Even though I will never be one.

"Sit in the front seat." Alec instructs, while going inside the driver seat.

I copy his action but I go in the front seat instead. I close the door and stare to the window and he turns on the car machine.

And the awkward car ride begins.

In the middle of complete silence, Alec finally makes a move. He does something with the car radio. I think he's playing something, a song obviously.

Suddenly, I hear a familiar beat.

'I'm fairly local, I've been around'

I gasp, almost loudly. "Oh shit! I love this song so much!"

Alec directly turns his gaze to look at me and smirks, "Really? This song is the shit though,"

"I love these kind of musics." I confess. Honestly though.

"You have a great taste of music then, just like me." Alec says, turning his gaze back to the street.

All I do is grin to him and mutter a thanks.

And the rest of the ride is quite. His gaze to the street is real.

I stare at the window and the street for the rest of the ride. Gosh, he's so quite. And he seems like thinking about something. I wish I could break his mind so I could see what's inside of it.

He seems like has a lot of thoughts. Like, a lot really.

"So... What's your favorite type of movie?" I ask him stupidly. Just to break the silence. I seriously have no idea why did I ask him that, fml.

He looks like he's not into the topic, "Action, comedy, scifi. Those kinds." His face is so straight what the fuck.

"Oh, cool. I love those stuffs," I respond to him, nodding. He just looks at me then smile, just for like a second then his smile fades.

I decide to continue the conversation because damn this car ride is like the most awkward car ride I've ever had.

"What's your favorite movie from all those genres?" Stupid question. Fucking clichè.

I hear Alec sighs lightly, "Neighbors is fun. I also like 21 and 22 Jumpstreet. They're pretty cool."

He doesn't look at me when he answers my question. I agree with his answer though, they're some insane movies. I should recommend you those.

Just a few minutes later, Alec parks his black car into the school's car park. Without hesitating, he hurriedly grabs his bag from the backseat and goes outside the car.
