As the rain trickled down the car window, the ray of optimism that I had about the outskirts of London was slowly fading. As we drove down a narrow road there was a building elegant and proud but destroyed by the tagged graffiti down the side, on the other side, a patch of damp turning green, such potentail, but ignored and left to rot...
'Oh it's Tyler!' Dad yelled.
To the side of the car, walked a young tall blonde man, well it was hard to tell if he was a boy or a man, or maybe he was going into manhood.
His eyes were sly, abit like my dad, green, but they were they were radiant, they practically glowed, actually... Were they glowing? His skin was pale, porcelain, smooth, he was wearing a grey suit, with a blue tie...
Dad pullled up beside Tyler, and rolled the window down. Tyler stopped in his tracks.
'Hey Tyler!' Dad still yelling 'Where you off too!'
'Just came back from an interview Carl' His voice pierced my skin... I shuddered.
-Taking a glimpse at him, I already knew I didn't like him -
His eyes peeled away from my dad, he focused his attention on me... He looked angry.
'Who is this?' Tyler asked.
Dad turned to me, patting my back 'This is my daughter, Sabrina'
Tyler narrowed his eyes.
'I didn't know you had a daughter...' There was a slight irratation in his voice.
'Shes a looker ain't she?' My dad chuckled.
Tyler did nothing but grunt.
'Do you want to come with us?' Dad offered 'We are getting chinese and going back, come join us for dinner!'
I couldn't help myself, I couldnt stop the words spilling out of my mouth.
'Dad no!'
My hands clamped over my mouth.
Tyler narrowed his green eyes even more, moving slightly forward he said quietly.
'I'd love to Carl'
As the words left his lips, a smug smile grew on his face as his eyes drew over to my face. My dissappointment.
-Great-
