The crows surrounded me, all watching me, observing me. I stood out of the University grounds, sweat building up around the sides of my head. I looked back at the university building, there didn't seem to be anyone watching me from outside of the window. It's like I was alone.
The sun was setting as I slowly walked out. Butterflies in my stomach, and my throat feeling dry.
I looked above and around to see all these crows just sitting on the trees and buildings.
'This is insane, what the hell is going on?' I thought to myself.
I hear a Crow screech in a special way as it flies by my head. I flinched, covering my head.
"The hell?" I spoke in shock as I looked up to see what it was.
It's feathers in pure white, untainted, and it's eyes crimson red. It was the one that flew by me as it then hovered over the ground then gently landed. Looking up at me with it's beady eyes.
I looked back, stunned at seeing it. I've never seen a crow like this before, it was beautiful but terrifying at the same time.
It simply looked at me, there was a moment of silence between us as it then began to approach me. I took a few steps back but it still continued to approach me.
"What do you want?" I asked as I took another step back.
Only silence as it approached me, I asked again, shouting, "WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME!?"
It replied, a loud voice, a mixture of deep and high pitched voice.
YOUR FLESH
YOUR SOUL
YOUR MIND
I WANT IT
It's reply brought pressure to my body, and sent chills down my spine. All the crows in the area suddenly flew out, cawing and screeching. I looked up as they all began to circle up in the sky.
I felt my throat tighten and my stomach ache as I was fueled in fear. I looked down at the White Crow, Now hovering above the ground. I headed for a sprint, running towards the other direction.
The pack of crows began to follow me, cawing.
This was not good, I hoped for this all to be a dream but I couldn't take the risk. I had to run, I didn't know what was going to happen to me but I had to run back to the University.
As I was reaching for the door, A swarm of crows swooped by and blocked my entrance. I took a turn and began to run towards a different direction. I had to think, there had to be another shelter somewhere around here. Maybe if I head for the city streets, I could ask for help.
I started to run for one of the tram stops, running as fast as I could but then another swarm blocked my path, I felt a sudden despair as I turned and searched for a different path. But each time, the swarm simply blocked my path.
In a few minutes of just sprinting, I realised that I was being railroaded. These crows were not letting me go and were leading me a path that I did not know about. I suddenly began to come across a town but when I tried to ask for help from one of the residents, the crows simply flew by me pushing me forward.
I began to lose my breath and speed. I began to cough slightly as I suddenly tripped. The swarm of crows swooped down and began biting my clothes and skin. I flailed around and pushed them away as I continued to run. But I was reaching my limit, and I realized where these crows were taking me. Slottsskogen. They were taking me back to where it all began in the first place and I couldn't do anything about it.
As I reached the forest, they began to scatter around the trees of the forest but still continuing to screech at me.
I panted heavily as I was out of breath. Now in despair, with no way out. I was now deep in the forest.
As I looked around me, I felt helpless, falling on my knees. The forest covered me in shadows as the sun was setting. It would be complete darkness in about an hour.
I didn't get what it meant by what it said about my soul and my flesh. But I felt like my life was about to end. I hear a certain special screech once more as the White Crow landed in front of me. I looked up at it, filled in fear as I begged, "Please...Spare me..."
The crow looked me, tilted it head, then responded in my head. It's voice brought fear into my heart as I heard it say those words.
...Rip Him...
