Days have gone by and I'm feeling like I'm getting used to my ability to smell. Whenever I try to focus and sniff out some kind of clue to where the target might be, I go into a trance. I visualize seeing only darkness and in this darkness there are long strands of ribbons in multiple colors placed in front of me. When I touch these strands, they give me a unique smell and I try to grasp onto the strand that seems to be the most recognizable to me.
Nothing. I'm not able to find any clue to where the White Crow might be. I snap out of my trance as I see the high point view of the city from a rooftop. I look over to my left to see Drizzt watching over the city in the night sky, zoned out.
I start to remember when we first met and he would offer a promise. I asked him about the deal a few hours after we decided to collaborate.
"What's so special about you killing me once our deal has ended? What difference would it make?"
Drizzt acknowledged my question and then thought for a moment before replying, "It's an honorable deed to be killed by a Grim Reaper, ya know, It's rare for a human or a monster to be killed by one. It means that they have acknowledged your existence in the real world. That may not mean much to you but trust me, it's a privilege to be killed by a Grim reaper."
I gave him an odd look, "Okay, though I'm not really doing this for honor, I'm just helping you out because I don't have anything to live for."
"Yeah yeah-" Patting hard on my back, "-You have my gratitude." He smiled.I snapped back into the present as I stand up from where I sat, Drizzt looks over at me and asks, "Did you find anything, Oliver?"
"No, nothing."
"I see, I guess it's not in Malmö, let's check somewhere else."
Drizzt headed off downstairs as I followed, along, "What's the next stop?" I asked.
"Next stop? We're going to Halmstad.""Do you think that it'll be there?"
"No, not really. My bet is placed on Gothenburg."
"Why not go there directly?"
"Because to me, when I hunt for something that is hard to find, I like to cut out all the lowest possibilities before I go for the higher ones." He gestured with his index finger, "Even if there's a 99 percent chance for it to not be there, there's still that 1 percent, you get what I mean?"
"Yeah, I get it."
And so we continued down the streets of the city and onto the long roads across the rural lands at night. During the whole journey from the urban city to the rural countryside, me and Drizzt spoke very little words to each other. It was rather a tranquil travel.
However, I've been getting a weird instinctual feeling in my head, like something is calling out to me, It's faint but I can feel the senses tingling in the back of my head.

Deep in the isolated streets of Halmstad, strange figures move through the shadows, silent and swift. At a construction site, in an unfinished building, whispers are forming in the shadows as a young woman appears out of the darkness. Wearing only a black leather jacket and a blue skirt, she stands under the moonlight.
Glowing eyes are watching her from the darkness as she speaks out, her voice is stern and powerful, "Show yourselves, my brothers and sisters. I have news to discuss."
The whispers became noticeable, suddenly, a figure walked out of the shadows, who seemed to be a male wearing a shredded blue hood. He responds with a grin,
"What is the matter, Theresia?"Theresia smiles as she speaks out, "I've turned my target into one of us, my beloved mate. Oliver Hilgendorf."
The man was shocked as he responded, "I didn't expect you to go for it, so, did he do it?"
"He did more than I expected, I saw him feast upon his beloved one with no human morality. I must say, It was fascinating and entertaining to watch him kill his bitch like that, I know now that he was meant to be."
Another figure appears out of the shadows, a young teenaged female who seemed to be energetic and joyful. "Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! This is it, Theresia! We can finally have him for ourselves!" She jumped around joyfully.
Theresia held onto the young girl's head to hold her still, "He's not 'ours', Vivi, he belongs to me. Remember who's the mistress of this group." Theresia gave an intimidating stare at Vivi, sending shivers down Vivi's spine,
"I'm sorry Mistress."
Theresia let's go of Vivi as she speaks, "However, I wasn't able to take him with me because someone interfered and nearly killed him."
Another male figure appeared, trail that stands out about him is his green and black striped hair, he grits his teeth in frustration as he spoke, "Who was it? Did the cops get him? Was it the Pantherinae species? Those Werecats, I swear I will cut every single one of their heads off!"
"No, It was a Grim Reaper, I didn't hear their conversation but the Grim Reaper had him subdued. If it wasn't for him, Oliver should've been able to fully embrace his inner beast."
"Damn, what do we do now, Mistress?"
"For now, We wait, I've been monitoring them and they seem to be searching for something. They've been going from city to city and their latest visit was in Malmö. If we stay here, they'll eventually come to us. And when they do, I'll have that reaper dead and my beloved Oliver become mine!" She grinned maliciously as the rest began to chuckled as they all were fueled with bloodthirsty thoughts. Theresia turned to look at the shadows as she continued to grin, the faint whispers became louder and louder as sounds of morbid laughter and powerful howling echoed throughout the building.

I think I write the story better when I don't have the motivation to write my other story, The CoDas. So from now on, I'll only publish chapters when I feel like I'm stuck in a part of my other Main Story.
So Basically, Im gonna stop pushing myself to write more chapters for this story and let the inspiration come for itself.
Thank you for reading this, more will come. While you wait, why not check out my other story, "The CoDas : Reboot".
