"Hello, Denizal," she speaks in an oddly familiar voice. When she sees my scrunched up face, she asks,"Do you not remember me Denizal?"

"Um... not quite, who are you?" I ask, intrigued.

"I am Hestia. Goddess of the hearth," she says with a smile. When she says this, a million questions flash through my mind.

"Am I.... in Olympus?!" I say. I know I look like a deer caught in headlights.

"You are my dear, but I imagine that you will be wanting to speak with the Olympian Gods," she replies. With a flick of her hand, she melts into flames. A few seconds later, twelve bickering gods and goddesses enter the room.

"It cannot be true!" says one with the most hideous face I had ever seen. Hephaestus!

"Hestia said she has come back," says a woman with a plain white chiton and long, wavy black hair that streamed down her back. Athena! My.... mother. Then the Olympians notice me and all Hades breaks loose.

"It's her, it's her! Don't you see?"

"Of course I can see, stupid!"

"What do we do with her?"

"Let's ask her parents!"

"No, no. We must ask Zeus."

It is like they don't even care that I am standing here. They all keep calling me "The Girl" as if I'm some sort of robot. This makes me very angry, "STOP!" I yell. All eyes turn towards me.

"Sorry," I say shyly.

"It's quite alright dear. We would all be confused in your position," Athena says with kind eyes. "I'm sure you have plenty of questions, Denizal, but we must insist that you wait on the answers. There is much to be done."

"Yes, Athena is correct," says the god with flowing robes down his back and jewels encasing his chiton. He is sitting on the throne in the middle. Zeus.

"Denizal Amy Dylan, you have been mentioned in a prophecy spoken to us by our Oracle of Delphi. You are here to help us with a problem that is now upon us. The Typhon, son of Gaia and Tartarus, has escaped his prison. We need your help, Denizal."

"Why me, why now?" I say, confused and worried all at once.

"You are a child of Athena and Poseidon, two extremely powerful gods. You are a minor goddess. Oh yes, and we have figured out that your power is over all sea creatures, part of Poseidon's realm, but he has agreed to share it with you. As for why now? Well, we aren't sure but we must know at once whether you will do it or not."

Many thoughts ramble around in my head, but one comes into sharp focus. Back at the orphanage, I have no family. Here at Olympus, I do. I am happy, for the first time since.... well.. ever! I was not going to let go of this feeling, this feeling of, family. In that moment, everything becomes clear. "Yes, I will do it."

THE END
