Chapter 15:

We walked into the IMAX theater and sat down. The movie was about to start.

"Hannah, where did you get that strawberry?" Brittany asked, laughing.

"Hey, don't laugh! Noah won it in the claw machine."

"Of course he did," Tanner said.

I pulled out my phone and texted him, 'Don't be an ass.'

'Sorry,' he replied with a sad face

Noah looked at my phone and pulled out his.

'Hey.' Noah texted, with a smiley. He locked his phone and looked up at me. My phone vibrated and I looked down.

"Really Noah," I said.

"For real, girl," he joked.

"Don't you, 'For real', me," I chuckled.

I turned back to where I was sitting, right as the preview came on.

We got up and threw our trash away. I wanted to go and walk by Noah, but I don't want Tanner to be mad. Ugh. Why is life so hard.

I walked by Brittany and pulled out my phone. Fifteen texts from Noah, a text from Cameron, and a text from Abbey.

I sent Abbey and Cameron a 'hey' and Noah a 'Really?' I locked my phone and slid it into my back pocket. We walked outside and Tanner gave me a hug. I hugged him back and saw Noah waiting by me.

"Can I help you?"

"I just wanted a hug." he said, trying to sound like a baby.

"Umm. No thank you." I flipped my hair and smiled.

He ran up behind me and tickled me from the sides. I slapped him, which was my first instinct, and started laughing. He grabbed my hand yanked me back.

"Noah, we're in public."

"And?"

"And, people are starring at us like we're crazy."

He looked up and saw like, 20 people staring at us. His football friends come here every Friday at 6:00 and they were there. They came up to him and started asking him if we were dating. Noah replied a quick 'no' and one of them came up to me.

"Are you single?" I think his name was Jacob, but I don't really know because he has a twin, named Sam.

"Yes." I stated

"So, you want to, like, go somewhere once?"

"Sure, sounds fun."

He pulled out his phone and told me to out my number in. I pulled out mine and gave it to him. I dialed my number and gave it back to him. He gave me my phone and I looked at his name. Jacob, yes, I was right. I slid my phone in my back pocket and ran to Brittany.
