A Dad's Reflection

I'm suppose to be the strong one,
It was taught to me that I must be tough,
But as I grow older, I know it was a lie,
I've learned that crying isn't for the weak,
But a sign of a beautiful loving heart,
That hiding my heart only hurts me more,
And other men need to see that its ok,
Days of me not showing my frailty are over,
For all I need to do is ask for help,
We need healing and we're not alone,
Men just like me know my hidden pain,
And together we can carry each other,
So on this day I ask you a couple things,
To be bold and speak with your heart,
So other men won't sit in their sorrow and pain,
That a hug means more than a greet,
But a way to share our power together,
And we as Dads we aren't alone,
Because we have each other.

Bless all the dad's stuggling and I pray for their healing and strength.

And again I do not own anything!
