~I've been blown away from the beginning, I've come from constantly losing to wining. I still hurt. I still hurt others because my hurricanes are deadly. Categories are begged to keep. I need peace to think steadily, but how can I cooperate when the dead climbs into my bed with me, hunting me steadily, without sparing me~

Lucy

I'm running through an open field again, wearing a white suit. My feet are bare again, this seems familiar. The silence is loud. And instantly, I stop running. Seconds later, I turn around. I see my grand-mother's Ree's house, sitting in the middle of nowhere. That brown house, double doors and gated windows. The doors are swinging back and forth. My heart begins to race. I hear her singing.

"There's a dream...that I'm dreaming, of my heavenly...heavenly home"...

I run full speed into the house. I look around, anxiety is building, I don't see her but I can still hear her singing. I know that song...

I walk down the hallway between the wall full of photos of my mother, aunt, and uncle when they were kids and babies. Photos of my siblings, favorite cousins and other family members. Photos of me...

As soon as I attempt to step inside of her room...

"Lucy"...

I turn around, and there she is. Beautiful as ever.

"Grandma"... I can barely get the word out of my day to day foul mouth. I could only feel as if I was a little girl again.

"You know why you're here"! She says in a soft voice she's always had.

"Yes ma'am"... I began to cry. She smiles.

"Come here"... She says.

I walk closer to her and she grabs me, and wraps her arms around me. Without letting one another go she says...

"Why have you been hiding from your parents?"She giggles. "They know you're always up to something that you don't need to be doing!"

"I'm in too deep"... I whisper. She rolls her eyes.

"God is so much bigger than your issues". She announces and I remain silent

"If you don't give it up, you will reap little girl. You will lose the ones you love, and you will suffer. Give it up!" She yells before the house vanishes. I'm standing back in the open field with her. Before she let me go she says...

"Baby, they're coming after you!"And she disappears. I dropped to the ground and cried hysterically.

I feel someone shaking me, but my eyes are still closed.

"Lucy...Lucy... baby wake up"

That voice...

"Lucy....wake up" I try my hardest to open my eyes, but the medicine that I took is very strong and it's still in my system.

"Lucy you're crying baby, wake up, open your eyes" He says in the most caring way. He's scared. He grabs me then lifts me up on him, and my eyes open a little.

"Elzie?"I say with tears still running down my cheeks.

"Yes baby, talk to me. Tell me what's wrong"...

"She...she said"... I pause.

I was dreaming.

"What did she say? Talk to me?!"Elzie says while forcing me to allow him to look at me.

"C'mon Lu talk to me, I'm here. I'm never going anywhere, I'm here"... He rocks me while pleading.

"Elzie?" I call out, praying that it's really him.

"Yes?"

I open my eyes up all the way, and all of a sudden, I'm in shock. I'm silent as I gape at him. It seems as he's been gone away from me forever. My soul is quietly collecting its pieces back, for he is the light of my life.

"I love you." I whisper.

He wraps his arms around my body, the way he always does, and I wouldn't want it any other way.

"I love you...I love you so much more."He says while catching his breath.

After a while he cleans up her face. He never wants to become familiar with tear stains streaking down it.

Her face...that it.

They end up in the living room sitting beside each other. The moment is pretty awkward, so Lucy decides to break the silence.

"How's Elly?" She asks.

"Um...She's actually great. My parents take her to church every Sunday, so she's improving...communicating a little more. She also has a physiologist that stops by once a week (he laughs softly) she gets annoyed with him often, but she'll be fine.

"How are you?" He ask Lucy.

The darkness inside of her turns into light from within. Elzie sees perfection when she looks up at him with those eyes that makes his world freeze, and praise the urge of him wanting to see those eyes...

Forever.

"I'm fine." Lucy lies, and Elzie knows it. He chuckles.

"You lie so terribly."He says and Lucy smiles.

"I know."She whispers.

"By the way, how did you get inside?"She asks.

"Well I was on my way coming from Orlando, and I needed to see you, so continuously called your phone. I panicked, and thanked God that I was only a half hour away from you at the time, so I pulled up in your driveway, noticed that your alarm wasn't on in your car, opened the door, .freaked out, opened the front door, freaked out again, saw your purse on the floor, freaked out again, saw your phone and"...

He becomes silent.

Lucy's smile grew.

"And you saw the photo on the front screen".

He keeps quiet and smirks at her.

Then he continues...

"Can you tell me why on earth didn't you lock the front door?" "Someone could've took you...or"...

He becomes silent again, thinking about how Elly was taken before his eyes. Lucy knew what he was thinking. She places her hand on top of his.

"I took meds to make me sleep through the night. I've been extremely restless. I took two right before I left my girls. All I wanted, and needed was my shower and my bed."

"And?" Elzie adds. Lucy blushes, but she'll never deny the fact that he's absolutely right.

She needed him...of course!

He stands up and kisses her forehead.

"I'll lock your car door, come lock the top lock."He says.

When she looks up at him, he kisses her lips.

"Now!"He demands.

Lucy wraps her arms around his neck.

"If you leave, you will never hear from me again"! She lies.

Elzie lifts her up, and she does it...

She does what he wants her to do.

She wraps her legs around his waist, and stares him deep into his eyes.

He rubs her bottom cheeks in circular motions.

"You often tempt me, and I hate it". He says before he kisses her bottom lip.

"Be more specific." She dares him.

He laughs softly, then says...

"I believe in marriage!"
