Breakfast

The letter fell from my grasp.

My body didn't move,not a single muscle.

Ciel and Sebastian watched,as the letter fell and my body followed.

I don't think I actually hit the soft carpet.

Why?I really wanted to find out how it felt.

Something,someone took me to another room.

Really weak,aren't you?

My body was unconscious. Same was my mind,but random moments come to it.

All I can remember is a blue eye staring deep into mine from a distance,while I rested on something.

Pathetic.

I fell asleep that night without realizing.

Didn't wake up until next week.

"Miss Catherine!",a female voice called and my eyelids felt heavy.

"Who is it?",I asked after a knock on the door and a few other voices chatting.

"M-mey Rin!",she answered and I sighed,as i let her in and rubbed my eyes,searching for my glasses.

"Lemme get that for ya!",a young boy's voice said and suddenly,my glasses were right in front of me.

"Now stand still so I can put em on!",he added and he put on my glasses for me and as soon as my eyes adjusted to the glasses' fix,I saw that cute little kid I had seen a few days ago,the name I recalled,but the fact I had been asleep for a week was kind of weird since I felt it was like yesterday it all happened.

I decided to brush it off.Besides I didn't remember seeing any dreams during that time.

"Oh!You're Finny!",I said and his lips parted and soon formed a big smile.

"YOU REMEMBER MY NAAAAMEEE!!!",he yelled cheerfully and hugged me,while I just tried to live though it and luckily,a tall man with blonde hair and a cigar in his mouth pushed him away.

"Hey,Finny!That's not the way we treat newbies!",he scolded him and I looked over at him,taking a better look.

"You...I remember you from somewhere...",I said and he gasped,dropping Finny.

"REALLY?",he asked,his eyes sparkling.

"Yes,I think... I think the wife of my father's",I cringed at the word and mention only,"friend,Connie.He knew you.I think you had fought together for a while,that's what his wife told us,at the least.",I said and he blushed,his eyes glimmering.

Mey Rin gasped at this, while I giggled.

Finny brushed the back of his head and let out small laughs.

"Heh!So I'm known in the hugh parts of society,huh?",he said and the door bursted open, Ciel and Sebastian were there.

"So you woke up.",he said and I shivered,as he sat on the edge of my bed and excused the others,except Sebastian.

"I think it would be for the best,if you went to visit your other grandpay,tell them what happened.Announce the deaths.",he said and I looked down.

"Alright.It's the right thing to do.",I agreed and he nodded, then ordered Sebastian to prepare the carriage.

"I...",Ciel said put of nowhere and I averted my look at him.

"I haven't really thought well of it...but if this turns out to be a bad case...you...can stay with us.",he finally said and looked down.

I was surprised.

Ciel always looked serious and cold,not to mention sometimes ignorant.

But...it seemed like there was still a soft side,hidden deep in his shattered heart.

"Ciel.",I said and put my hand on his.

"I appreciate your offer-no,I am more grateful than ever.If things don't turn out good...I will seriously consider it.",I answered and he smiled.

"As you wish.",he said and Sebastian entered the room.

"Your vehicle is ready,my Lord.",he said and bowed,and Ciel stood up,leaving the room.

"I'll expect you downstairs after breakfast.Sebastian will take care of you and serve you for the morning,while I check some papers.",he said with a gentle smirk and I just looked over at Sebastian with a slight gasp formed on my lips.

"But,wont you eat breakfast?",I asked and he laughed.

"It's past 10 am.I've finished hours ago.",he said and left the dooframe,exiting the room and leaving Sebastian alone with me.

"Um..",I muttered as he opened the closet behind me and he turned around at my mutter.

"Is something wrong,Lady Catherine?",he asked and I stood up.

"I'd rather do this on my own,if upu don't mind.",I said and his eyes widened.

"Oh?That's a first.If you feel more comfortable like that,I'll have to excuse myself to prepare breakfast.",he said and bowed,leaving me alone in the room with my dress and heels.

I never made my maid dress me up.Ever since I was 8 I learned how to dress up for myself and let her dress up my brother who needed help.

After I got dressed up and fixed my hair,I started walking down the stairs,meeting Finny on the way. He was carrying a statue over his shoulder.

"Oh,hi Fin-h...how..",I asked and pointed at the statue with a shocked expression.

"Eh?Ah,you mean the Statue! Master ordered me to get rid of it,so I'll throw it outside the back window.",he said cheerfully and I looked at him walk away easily,whistling.

I stood there for a while and walked away,my mind was making up theories about his amazing strength.

Also,it was trying to drive my thoughts back to my family.

Their deaths were nothing but tragic.Truly,they all died tragically,by their own family.The fact I was next I knew it all too well...

"Ah,right on time Miss.",Sebastian said as I entered the huge dining room and sat on a chair and he served me immediately.

The food and tea were delicious. Not that I didn't know he was an excellent cook,but I was amazed by how good it tasted.

"Let's get going,shall we?The young master must be waiting for us.",he said and I nodded,standing up from the chair as quietly as possible,that thanks to the fluffy carpet,fresh cleaned.

As expected,Ciel was waiting for us next to the carriage with a book in his hand.

"Oh,you finally came.How nice of you.",he said and I took it as a joke not sure if it was or not.

"We were almost too bored to come get ya.Anyway,let's go.",I replied and Ciel chuckled,as he gave me his hand so that I could enter the carriage properly,while Sebastian walked to he front,obviously being our sofer.

"Go!",Ciel said and Sebastian started the carriage, with the horses' strength and speed,as their galloping begun.
