Liz slept until 11 A.M. She was still tired when she woke up. She knew she wouldn't fall back asleep she got up and went to the bathroom.
She turned on the shower, and let it get hot. So hot steam rose from it. Liz undressed and hopped into the hot water. She stood in the stream of hot water replaying the things that happened last night. She realized she had been standing there for at least 5 minutes, so she hurried up and shampooed and conditioned her hair, and washed her body and face.
She stepped out if the shower feeling clean. She dried herself off and ran a brush through her wet hair. She wrapped the towel around herself and walked back to her room to get dressed. She put on sweatpants and a sweatshirt.
"I'll be comfy today." she thought to herself as she put it on.
She trudged downstairs not wanting to explain why she was home. She was supposed to be at Natalie's until tomorrow.
"But I got kicked out. Great job Liz!" she mumbled to herself.
Her dad was reading the paper at the table. Liz walked to the fridge and pulled out the Orange Juice. Poured herself a large glass and went to get the toaster. She always had toast on Saturday. She had it so much she knew how long to put it in so that it came out golden brown. She then lathers it with butter and grape jelly. Her favorite.
"Hey Liz, why are you back from Natalie's already? I thought you come home tomorrow?" he asked quizzically.
Knowing she couldn't mention Seth she had to lie, again.
"I didn't feel well and threw up so I wanted to go home.." she said waiting for her Dad to buy it.
Of course he did, he always does.
"Ok well I hope you feel better, kiddo!" he said cheerfully and continued to read his paper.
"I'm glad you took my advice and didn't tell him." Seth said.
Liz immediately broke into a cold sweat and her stomach began to twist and turn.
"Oh, don't panic sweetheart, it's only me and as long as you listen to me nothing bad will happen to you." Seth cooed.
This made Liz relax a little. She was getting more used to Seth.
"That's better. Calm down. You are easier to control when you are relaxed." Seth said
"You can't control me!!" Liz shot back at Seth in her head.
"Oh contraire my dear, I can make you do whatever I please." He said wickedly.
"Let me show you."
Seth forced he to grab the butter knife she had laid out for her toast. She took the knife in her hand, and in one forced motion brought it down blade first right into the counter-top. It made a load slam that made her dad jump.
"What the hell was that?!" her dad said over his newspaper.
"Nothing I dropped the butter." she lied again.
"Okay, just clean up the mess you made." He said not even bothering top look over his paper.
"K" Liz said shortly.
She grabbed the handle of the knife and yanked it out of the table as quietly as she could. It came out but left a mark where the blade entered the table.
"Great!" she groaned top herself.
"You made me." Seth said simply.
Liz ignored him but he continued to babble on. She finished her toast and cleaned her mess up. Then walked back to her room.
As soon as she closed the door she was unpleasantly greeted by an electrical shock. A big shock. Enough to clench her teeth and scream quietly. All she could see was white. Her knees buckled and she slid down agents the closed door.
"This is what happens when you disobey me, sweetheart." Seth said with malice.
