Liz's alarm buzzed at 5:30 a.m. Liz really dreaded Monday. Not only because it was the first day of the week and she had to get up early, but she knew she would have to see her three friends that kicked her out of a slumber-party last weekend.

"Ughh. It's too damn early" Liz grumbled to Seth.

"I completely agree. Now go back to bed." Seth whined.

Liz ignored his request and dragged herself out of bed. She got in the shower like she did every morning. She washed her hair and face, then scrubbed her body with Lemon Zest Energy body wash she got from Bath and Body Works. She loved the smell and used it everyday! She stepped out of the shower and dried off. She blow-dried her hair and then straightened it. It didn't need to be straightened but she did anyways. She walked to her room and grabbed a pair of skinny jeans, tennis shoes, and a T-shirt with a Hollister sweatshirt.

She trotted downstairs and ate breakfast, a measly apple and orange juice. She knew she would be starving by lunch but she wasn't hungry that morning. She went back into the bathroom and applies light make-up that consisted of black eye-liner, mascara, and blush. She brushed her teeth and went to get her backpack and keys from her room. She said bye to her parents as she walked out the front door.

"She pulled into the school parking lot at 7:30. She liked to be early so she could socialize with her three friends. She turned her car off, grabbed her bag and proceeded to walk up to the front doors of the building. She yanked open the huge doors and walked into the main lobby. There were already a good handful of kids there already. She looked around to find Natalie, Kris and Jen. They weren't there.

"Of course" Liz mumbled.

"They can't hide forever, sweetheart." Seth comforted. "They will come around sooner or later.... unless they die before that."

At that moment when Seth said "unless they die", Liz got that familiar feeling that she loved. The craving for death, to hear blood curdling screams of peer terror and pain. Liz's body shudder with the feeling.

"I know you want it." Seth edged on.

"I know I do." Liz said without thinking.

"Good, we can arrange that very soon." Seth said viciously.

Liz stood there day dreaming about murder until the bell rang and snapped her out of her happy trance. Liz walked to her locker and grabbed her books before her ass of a locker neighbor, Leo, came by. All Leo did was be mean and made her school days worse then when they started. She hustled to her first class. Pre- Algebra. Liz was never good at Math but this year was going a lot better.

She sat down in her desk and grabbed her notebook and textbook and waited for class to start. People filed in in little packs. The final bell rang at 8:15 and everyone sat down. There teacher Mr. McHallen started went over the assignment and then assigned them another 4 page assignment for tomorrow.

Liz went through the rest of her five classes like a breeze. Her favorite class was reading with Mrs. Maleen. Liz loved to read so everything they talked about was fun. By the time lunch rolled around it was 12:40 and Liz was starving. She grabbed her phone and ear buds and walked down the hallways to the lunchroom humming along to the song "400 Lux by Lorde". The line moved fast and by the end of the song she had her tray and milk on it. She picked up some grapes, a bread stick and some Spaghetti. She typed in her lunch code, grabbed a napkin and a straw. She looked round for Natalie, Kris and Jen but of course they were sitting at the popular table, a place where Liz didn't dare to go. She searched some more and found a table in the south corner of the lunchroom where she could sit all alone and listen to music, peacefully. Sadly, she had to walk past the popular table to get to it.

She walked brikly not making eye contact with anyone there, but of course the popular girls couldn't let Liz go without some insults.

"Where you going Liz? Oh, yea, to go sit alone like always! You'r such a loser!!" yelled Mckalla Pike.

The whole table burst out laughing, even Natalie, Kris and Jen.

"I thought they were my friends. I was way wrong." She said to Seth.

"Obviously not, you are too good for them, keep walking and act like it didn't even bother you." Seth said helpfully.

Liz took his advice and turned around and kept walking to her table. She didn't look anywhere but her table which was a terrible mistake. One of the popular guys, Xander Kit, stuck of foot out and she tripped over it.

Liz fell hard, and didn't have time to stop herself. Her tray fell out of her hands and she landed on it. Getting Spaghetti all over her Hollister sweatshirt. The table burst into laughter again, louder this time. Liz got up slowly trying to blink back tears of humiliation, it didn't work. She ran out of the lunchroom with tears running down her face. And ran into the bathroom and cried until lunch was over. She cleaned herself up the best she could and went back to her locker to get her bag and keys. She drove home for the rest of the day depressed about what had happened and that her own "friends" didn't even care enough to do anything about it. Liz and Seth had small conversations throughout the rest of the day, but nothing big.

Liz had to through away her favorite Hollister sweatshirt because it was stained with Spaghetti. She sat in her room the rest of the night with her laptop and a tube of Pringle's and when her parents came in she would pretend she was asleep because she didn't want to tell them.
