Not Again

I swear you have to be kidding me..

Guess what? I forgot Devin was the 2nd strongest of our kind. Which means he isn't  dead from two simple stabs. 

I was looking at twitter and came across a post of his posted five minutes ago. I spun around in my chair, away from my computer. Standing up, I go to my dresser and simply  grab my school uniform and an aqua tie before brushing my hair and leaving for school. 

"Dad?" I call into my Fathers room before I head out. 

"Via, you know I have a cold, I'm trying to sleep." All he does is whine. 

"Are you sure you can't be a body guard today?"

"I'm sure. Have fun at school today, make sure to beat the hell out of someone." He was barely listening. 

"Okay, bye, love you. I hope to see like 27 quarters in the swear jar when I get home."

"Love you Via."

I walk through the nice day and to my school and enter the hallway. 

The first thing I see is an ad for the movie I watched with Jude and Ashlyn on a wall. And now all I can think of is Jude, and lucky me can see him right next to my locker. 

I saunter over and clear my throat, getting his attention. He moves out of the way and opens the locker for me. 

"Thanks," I mumble, face pink. I put my bag in and close it. I look at the black-haired teen. 

"Jude?" I ask as he grins at my tinted cheeks. 

"Via?"

"Can you be my body guard today?" I ask sweetly. I'm taking advantage of this little crush. 

He cocks an eyebrow. "Why?- Oh, who's that?" He looks behind me, and I turn swiftly to see Devin. The blonde-haired... devil, probably.

"The guy that took me away last time. Devin."

"Oh, why not then?" He moves closer to me and bumps my shoulder a bit. 

I try not to look at Devin, but when I do, all I notice is that he looks like someone I know-

"Via!" Devin notices me, and grabs me by the wrist and pulls me outside a bit  as Jude sprints after me. He grabs my hand, and his is warm and firm. 

"Let go of her, Devin." He growls. 

"I believe she is my demon." He says, suddenly his voice sounds so demonic, like two in one. 

He makes the portal again, and pulls on my wrist with both hands, harder. I feel like I'm being ripped apart. It hurts and stings, sending shockwaves through my arms. 

I cry out in pain, and I plead at Jude to let go. He finally loosens up, and Devin pulls me in once more.

I awake on a carpet, a purple one, in a red universe, like Fernthor. I look around and try to understand what's going on. When I stand up,  I shreik as a giant cage falls over me. A nearby door  barges open. 

"Via..." 

It's Devin, but this time it's not....well, Devin. His eyes are a blood red, and humungous black wings sprout from his back. I think he lost his shirt, and two black chains replaced it. A red-orange hue glows around him. 

A grin is spread across his cheeks, ashe walks slowly  over to me. 

"What?"

"you're so stupid." 

"What?!"

"You thought I liked you?" He laughs a deep, raspy laugh that makes me cover my ears. As I sit on the carpet, cowering, he crouches down to me and puts his hands on the bars. 

I'm so confused. Didn't he just want me to be with him?

"Miranda."

Is all he says. 

I felt like my chest just exploded. Pieces come together in my confused mind, and I  figured out the puzzle. 

Mirana looked just like him. Wavy blonde hair, the same nose, even both had blue eyes. Well, now he had red, but still. They were siblings, weren't they?

"I just got you here so we could kill you, make you suffer. I just wanted you dead. Well, Miranda did. Miranda, my precious baby sister lost her father because of yours. YOURS."

He growls in my face, and his breath smells of metallic blood. 

"You took what was most important from me..."

 A girl voice says from the doorway.

There she is, Miranda. Sitting there like nothing is wrong. Her black wings, larger than Devins, her eyes, brighter than his will ever be. Redder. 

Chains are almost consuming her body as she is  dressed all in black, she speaks.

"Now, I take away whats most important from you."
