"What..." Evan asked slowly, he was at a loss for words. He did feel something devious from the man but he didn't expect this. A criminal was at his side driving him away from the authorities. He's breaking the law in front of his eyes and he was sitting right next to him as an assumed accomplice. He became involved with a felony but what did Tyler do?

"Tyler what did you do..."

"..."

"Answer me!"

"Those two police officers were my targets by their wives."

"What?"

"They've been having an incestuous relationship with one another behind their wives backs and they wanted them gone. So I had one of my informants lead me here to that restaurant. There was a waitress that works there who is also an assassin I promised her a cut of my earnings if she was able to eliminate them." Evan's eyes widened in disbelief then he realized he took their attention to himself with his trickery. Tyler played him into being a distraction.

"You used me... You knew about my magic prowess and used me as a distraction. IS THAT ALL I AM TO YOU?! SOME ACT?!" Evan shouted he felt his eyes water, why were they doing that? He shouldn't feel betrayed he should just feel anger. But he didn't he felt sadness and like he was stabbed in his back. Tyler looked at the Asian man for a second.

"Evan I never wanted to do that to you! I was going to do this next week a day where you wouldn't have been involved! I never wanted you to be pulled into this. You were the first person that didn't know me for the name I made up, you looked at me as if I were a person. I wanted so badly for something to develop a friendship, a romance, something! I just wanted it to be with you." Tyler exclaimed his voice cracking as he spoke. Evan leaned back in the chair as tears fell from his face.

"Well good job. You made me an accomplice." Tyler felt his shoulder slump, he failed. They reached under a bridge where the train would go over they stayed there for a while until the police finally gave up. Tyler sighed as he sat in the car with Evan who was holding himself his head leaning on the window. What was Tyler to do? He brought a kid that had a decent life into an illegal heist of his without meaning to. He thought if he done it now he'd get a bigger pay check and would be able to take Evan somewhere much fancier, much nicer than the restaurant they were in. But it was for naught. He probably hated him, not that he blames him, he'd hate himself if he were in Evan's shoes.

"Evan... I'm sorry... I don't want to loose you..."

"And I don't want to go to jail, if people look at me they'll only see an accomplice. This is probably all over the news that car chase wasn't exactly discrete. I'll loose my job if they ever find out about this." Evan whined as he shrunk in the car seat in despair.

"What if you didn't have to?" Evan looked up at Tyler in question.

"What do you mean?"

"They would never suspect you, you're too short and adorable to pose as a threat. So they'll over look you the only one that has to suffer will be me." Tyler responded Evan looked at his friend as he felt his chest hurt. He didn't want to send this man to damnation. He didn't want him to be taken period. But their in different sides to a coin. Never allowed to meet or one side will be sent to ruin. He didn't have the heart to report him. He didn't have the heart to let him go. He did have the heart to accept his apology.

"Tyler... I can't stand the idea of you being sent to prison it wouldn't sit well with me... I will look past today's events, but I can't say that I'm proud of it either." Tyler felt the weight lift from his shoulders as he exhaled the breath he didn't know he was holding.

"Thank you, Evan. But what I did to you wasn't right, I involved you in something that you had nothing to do with. That is something that I can never forgive myself for doing." Evan looked away from Tyler, this man is making him feel so many emotions at the same time he didn't understand what they were. But he knew one of them, adrenaline. His blood was pumping through his body from the excitement of being chased, just being with this man made him feel like he was breaking the law and he loved it.

"Evan I know I'm in no place to ask this but would you be willing to help me with my jobs? Willingly this time?"

"What?! Why wou-"

"Just hear me out, please. Now I know being a Black Market Freelancer may sound like a bad idea but you wouldn't believe the pay. Infact it's the better choice if you want to be financially stable. Your job as a waiter can help you for so long until your expenses increase you would have to find a second job or go job hunting for a job that will help you with your needs. That is difficult to find now a days. This is if you abide by the rules. Now if you were a freelancer you get paid for doing deeds that other people wouldn't do in public so you'll need to be secretive about your jobs. The better you are at it the more money you'll get."

"But I would be considered a criminal." Evan stated softly still unsure of where this man is trying to get at.

"Yes the likelihood of you being arrested for breaking the law is high. But why do you think there are rich companies? Their all criminals that pay for their felonies with money and continue to live on. I'm not going to force you to join me. But think about it. You could live much more comfortably without much worry about being low on money."

"... I would like to go home, please..." Evan said as he didn't look at Tyler. He lowered his gaze to the steering wheel and have a heavy sigh. He started the car and pulled out of their hiding spot and started driving him back to where Liquor Hole was. Throughout the drive Evan looked out the window wonder. What would it be like? Actually not having to worry so much about finances is very appealing to him. When they arrived at Liquor Hole, Tyler parked the car. And looked at Evan who was thinking.

"... Trial..."

"What?"

"I will give it a test trial, once! To see what it's like with you, if I don't like it, don't ever speak to me again. If I do, you have to find a normal job with me and then I'll be your partner." Tyler felt his eyes widen in excitement as he gave a grin.

"Yes!! I should start you off with a beginner job perhaps."

"No." Tyler looked at the Asian with confusion as he furrowed his eyes together. Evan looked at Tyler looked at him with a challenging look in his eyes but a frown on his face.

"An intermediate job, I want the full experience, I need to know what I would be getting myself into if I join you."
