Chapter One-Survive, Already!

Hey, I'm Jamie. The first thing you should know about me? I kill people for a living. I hate my job. But when your family has been in the business for millennium, it's not exactly a job I can just "quit". So that's why I'm part of S.O.T.A. Never heard of it? Don't be surprised. Nobody hears about it. That's why I'm breaking some major rules here by writing this. So! I guess there is nothing left to say but "Buckle up and enjoy the ride!" It might be your last. I'm writing this book because I want people to be able to protect themselves. I don't want you to be so helpless to defend yourself. Don't let yourself be helpless. Pay attention.
