I awoke to a loud ringing and then a clamber.

It was Britta. The 8 o'clock alarm had went off and she knocked the clock onto the floor.

"Brittaaaa." I whimper

"Morning MaddieMoo" that's what her nickname for me was.

"Hhhmmm mornin'." I stretched my arms out and climbed out of the bed and waked across the cold wooden floor. I went to our closet and got out a dark blue jumper, black skinnie jeans. And red vans. I quickly got dressed, brushed my teeth, and did my hair. I decided to leave my shoulder length dirty blonde hair down in its wavy state.

I swept my fringe out of my eyes and looked over to see Britta making her bed.

"So how was your adventure last night?" She asked me.

She was the only one who know about me sneaking out. I hope she was the only one.

"It was interesting."

"Why is that?"

"I meet someone"

"Oooh a boy?" She winked.

"Oh god Britta not like that! I was drawling in the park and a man sat next to me and we talked about RadioHead and such."

"And....." I started to make up my bed.

"Well his name is PJ, he hugged me, it was strange but he seamed nice."

"Hhmmm sounds cool. Next time you go getting hugs from men, bring me." She giggles

"Oh shit, Britta." I laughed "forget about it. It's not like that, ok?"

"Whatever." She smirked. "Did you tell him about ya know, here?"

"No, not here specifically. He knows about my family but that's it."

It was now 8:30 time to meet for breakfast. We both went down to the dining room and sat in your usual places where each setting was set with a plate holding a waffle. A waffle? Since when do we eat waffles? Beatrice must be in a good mood today. Or we have someone coming in to possibly adopt one of us.

She came into the room wearing a pastel pink sundress and flats. Yep, we are having a visitor. She normally just years sweatpants and hoodies and such.

"Ok everyone, today we are having a young man coming to look into possible taking one of you home." She sat at her usual setting. "He called me quite late last night, so he must eager to adopt. Therefore, everyone needs to be in tip top shape so we don't scare him off."

We stared to eat. I couldn't help but think that whoever is coming to look at us is probably just false hope. People come and look pretty often but no one ever gets adopted.

Maybe this time would be different.

No what am I saying?
No one in there right mind will adopt a sad teenager.
They always go for the younger kids.

We finished our breakfast as the clock rung 9 o'clock. I hate the schedule Beatrice makes us run on. It's so enjoying. It was now time for us to prepare for our guest.
