I woke up at in the middle of the night hearig a big commotion downstairs i got up frOm my bed and i walked down to see my father and the entire high ranking members of the pack with him,that means something real bad had happened.

"Dad whats happening" i asked, and my father looked at me with a real distress look.

I have never seen my father like that since the cortez incident happened  3 years back when i lost my mom in front of my eyes.

"Honey i want you to go to the blood's land as fast as you can.jacob (beta of the pack) and few of our pack members will accompany you and the children"

 A full scale evacuation, it only meant one thing that we were being attacked in a large scale.

"Dad i am not leaving, i will fight by your side, i am the alpha's daughter and i am not running"

Dad smiled "you are just like your mom dear, intelligent and brave, you understood it was a full scale evacuation and that meant only war has reached our doors.But i want you go the bloods land immediately and i am not asking you to run my dear i am asking you to protect the future of our pack ,the pups safety are in your hands."

'"But dad please i want to be at your side"

"NO DIVA he screamed in his alpha voice YOU WILL OBEY ME."

I lowered my head with tears in my eyes swelling up yes dad and shifted to a light brown wolf and the rest of the party who were to accompany me changed.

I LOVE YOU DAD be safe i said to him through my mind, and started making toward the edge of the town where the children were gathered.I could see him smiling proudly looking at me while i left.

I was incharge of the safety of the children about a 100 of them were gathered at the outskirts from babies to teens who could not shift and shift.there were 50 shifters with me among them were my high school friends and my best friends matt and holly.there were about 8 teens who could shift so there were 58 shifters to protect a group of 80-90 children.

I gave out a howl signalling to move out it was a day journey to the blood's land and all our rear guards were asked to come to the frontlines so there were no patrols upto the blood's territory.

The pack couldnt move fast because of the non shifters and my constant thoughts were drifting whether my dad was safe.jacob saw my concern he was a large grey wolf he asked me not to worry.it was about day break ,when we were ambushed, those bastards knew we would make it for our allies land and set up an ambush.

About 100 of them were flanking us ,think diva think my heart pounding if we fight head on the children cannot be protected we were out numbered but that was the only option i could think ,they would atleast concentrate to finish us ,giving some time for the children, i ordered the 8 teen shifters to lead the pack and rest to follow me.

It was an insane idea, and i knew we wouldnt survive, but i had no other choice, i ordered a head on attack we charged at them i jumped in the air going to the throat of one of the attackers and heared the crushing cound of his larynx.two of them jumped at me one nearly missing my and throat and other biting my hind leg tearing a bit of fur and flesh.i yelped at the pain but went for his throat i could taste the metallic fluid in my mouth.

The other one charged at me but a large grey wolf pinned him down and finished him, jacob nodded at me and charged at the enemies after a few hours of fighting the battle was over.About 50 of them were dead and 15 of them injured.jacob ,matt ,holly ,2 others from my pack and me were the only survivors.jacob and matt went to finish the injured without mercy and i knew they didnt deserve it.But something was wrong i could feel it.

Jacob had the same feeling we definately knew we were attacked by more numbers, a sense of panic filled my chest "the chidren" i screamed ,and we all ran toward them as fast as possible .

when we reached it was a massacre there were about 12 of those bastards dead and 7 of them circalling arount 8 children a 3 teen shifters who were protecting them.

The smell of blood and the sight of lifeless body of the children made me insane i let out a war cry and charged at them.we killed every last bastard.

We were all tired, injured every part of our body aching ,holly and matt were severely injured they couldnt move.we lost one of our pack members and the teens were injured pretty bad too.the children were crying but only 8 of them survived .i needed to get them safe, jacob asked me to take the children to the blood's territory which was only about an hour walk and the rest of them will hold if any of their reinforcements plan to attack.

NO i refused, jacob reasoned i was the alpha female of the stone pack their allies,  and only i could gain access to their territory without any question and everything goes out smoothly they would send reinforcement for them to take them to their lands.

I had no choice, i left with the children still bleeding and i finally saw their patrol and a familiar face ,my vision was blurring but i recognised the patrol head it was SAMUEL ALEXANDER BLOOD a friend of my father when i finally blacked out
