THE MEETING

DIVA 'S (POV)

I couldnt control my tears,tears not due to sadness or loss but due to pride,a pride no other woman in any of the other packs could ever feel to see her alpha and his beta to kneel before his mate to show their love and obedience.

I was taken to the pack house after i got discharged.it was a mansion surrounded by forest.It was a three storey building with nearly hundreds of rooms.I had never seen a pack house this big and members so obedient.

Vic had to go to out for a while ,he had some matters to take care off.He had asked me to join the meeting at 7 with all the high ranking members of our new family a small ceremony to introduce me to them i guessed.

I had changed into a tshirt and jean after my shower.Vic had bought me an entire wardrobe of clothes when he found out that i was his mate i kind of thought it was sweet of him.I smiled thinking of him his sleek but muscular body,his hazel eyes,his beautful lips,his heart melting smile his warm embrace which started making me lust for my mate.

I went to the kitchen were food was already made and served by the maids of the house where i saw jacob and the teens stuffing themselves with food.They stood up when i walked towards them.

Jacob greeted me with a grin,''mrs.alpha he teased.Your father would have been so proud of you my dear and he would give you his blessings he said.He always loved vic as his son you know.''

Tears rolled my eyes, ''i know i mumbled'', my father always considered the Blood pack highly .

I looked at the teens and and apologised to them for what they had to go through, and asked for  their names .They introduced themselves Edward,Bella and john they were all about 16, two years younger to me and had shown great courage protecting the children.

I knew that sorting the stone pack and blood pack would be a problem,because jacob was a high ranking member of the stone pack and joseph was already Vic's beta.Jacob some how found out what my thoughts were wandering off to and said alpha i am planning on retiring,of course with your permission.

I was surprised ''you retiring ,the beta of the stone pack ,one of our greatest fighters retiring ,you are joking right.''

''No dear i am getting old for this beta thing i want the young to take over and let the old like me to take a rest he said grinning.''

''I let out a sigh but it isnt my place jacob Vic would decide, he has asked us all to come to the meeting you know.''

Vic wanted all the stone pack members to the meeting he didnt mention why,before i could ask him he left in a hurry.

I could hear familiar voices coming and sound of foot steps walking towards us it was matt and holly.Holly screamed and ran upto me and gave me a tight hug mrs.blood huh she winked at me teasing,''tell me everything that happened she said with excitement''.

''Ok i smiled'', we were only high school teens before all this started,i missed the giggling ,gossiping the boring classes and boy scouting.hey i am just 18 right i never wanted so many responsibilities on my shoulder.Now i am leading  one of the biggest packs and i am the alpha's mate life took a sharp turn i sighed .

Matt gave me a warm embrace congratulating me.we were talking until it was finally time for the meeting.My hands were all sweaty and i was nervous how would the members respond to her would they accept as his mate.All vague thoughts clouding my mind.

Finally we all entered the meeting hall,it contained a large oval table where Vic was sitting in the middle on his right there were two empty chairs and on his left joseph and chris were sitting.there were many unfamiliar faces all bowing their heads submissively as i walked into the room.I walked straight to vic where he stood up and greeted me with a hug, all of them stood looking at me.

Vic announced,, this is  DIVA VICTOR BLOOD ,my mate in his alpha voice you shall show her respect and obey her as you would respect and obey me .Does any one challenge my decision'', he asked.

Everyone kneeled and took the same oath taken by joseph and chris.The stone pack were bit surprised they hadnt seen any man kneel before a woman before and they hadnt.They were confused they didnt know what to do both the men and women after a few mumbling they all got into their knees.

Thank you i said please get up i asked them with embarrasement i was treated like a queen.I had so much pride and wished my parents could have seen me now they would have been so proud of me.They were all looking at me and my face full of emotions as if they wanted me to tell something.I looked at Vic he gave me a smile and took his arms in his giving me courage.All i could say was ''THANK YOU ,I wont let you guys down.''

I wont let you guys down my head was screaming is this all you could think of,hey come on i didnt expect this or i would have prepared a speech or something i thought.after a minute of vague silence we all sat down.Vic made me sit at the vacant chair to his right saying that chair was my permanent,to be at his side always and indicating the second command next to him.

Vic cleared his throat and looked at the stone pack ''do you wish to join our pack ''he asked.

''Yes'' they all replied without hesitation.

Jacob as for you he started, but was cut off by jacob kneeling.Alpha i wish to retire he said.

Vic was taken by surprise he gave me a confused look and for a minute of deep thought he asked jacob to stand.''I need a favour from you jacob''

''Anything alpha ''

''I will consider your resignation but ,I want you to train the pups and new shifters for us could you do that.''

He smiled ,jacob always loved kids he accepted with out hesitation.

Edward,Bella, john,matt and holly step forward he commanded.All five of them came forward and bowed their heads.

''You showed great courage in protecting the pups and protecting my mate would you like to be bodyguards of the BLOOD family'' .

''Yes they said,''it was only the elite who were enlisted in protecting the family and they were honoured.the teens were jumping with joy they were the youngest to get enlisted and they had every right to be excited about.

The rest of the pack were equally distributed under the high rankers and all the stone pack members were asked to leave the meeting hall.After the door was closed i looked at Vic smiling thanking him for showing her fathers pack so much honour.

''Vic who's seat is this i asked showing him the vacant seat to my right.''

''That is sam's seat diva''

''Where is he ,why isnt he in this meeting ''.

Joseph replied ''dad got an urgent call before the meeting he would join us shortly ''.before he finished his sentence sam came with an agitated look and sat beside me.

''What is it sam'' Vic asked,that look he had definately meant something really bad has happened again

''THE COUNCIL MEMBERS ARE ALL DEAD'' he replied with his hands over his forehead.
