Friends (Ereri/Riren fan fiction)

EREN'S POV: (Through out the story I'll switch povs between Levi and Eren)

"Dad c'mon," I whined. He was forcing me to start high school junior year because he said it would be  good experience for me. Yea right. Good experience my ass. Mikasa, my sister, was sitting on the sofa laughing at me.

"No I will not change my mind, besides the more you beg the more I think about forcing you to be taught there for the last year too," Dad said while crossing his arms. I sighed sat down and sulked.

"Sorry Eren but it's only fair that you go since I had to attend ALL years of high school. Besides who knows you might meet a cute boy there," she said winking at me. I recently came out to Mikasa and my Dad, they love to tease me about it too.

"Shut up," I said and threw one of the decoration pillows from the sofa at her. For the rest of the night I sulked and would drop hints throughout the night about how much I would hate it.

*time skip to the morning of his first high school day*

BEEP BEEP BEEP my alarm clock rudely awakes me from my slumber. Today is the day. The day I go to what Satan calls hell, I mean high school. I mean I'm not expecting it to be horrible but I know I ain't gonna like it one bit. I turn my alarm clock off and start to get ready for school. I brush my hair but let's be real, that thing has a will of it's own and won't be tamed. After I do all the basics like getting dressed and brushing my teeth I head to the kitchen for breakfast.

"Today's the day Eren," Dad said happily. How can one be happy about this?

"Don't remind of it," I say as I sit down at the table and put my head down. I know that no matter how much I pretend as if I'm sick or dying my attempts are futile. No matter what it seems like I'm going to high school. I look up he sets down a bowl of oatmeal in front me with some toast.

"Thanks," I say and start eating. Eventually Mikasa wanders on in and flicks me in the head.

"Ow, what was that for!" I say as she laughs

"Just because you're a dork, by the way I'll be driving you to school" She says as she picks out cereal to eat.

*time skip to when she is dropping him off*

"Bye dork," she says as she ruffles my hair.

"Oh c'mon it was already a mess," I whine as I get out.

"Whatever, see you soon" she says before I close the door. I stick my tongue out at her and start to head over to Satan's pit. Damn why are back packs so heavy?

LEVI'S POV:

"Hey did you hear that a newbie is coming today?" Said one of my friends Erwin. I shrug it off and continue leaning against the lockers.

"It's not like I would care about a new brat moving here" I say and open my locker shove some of my random shit in there. Erwin just raises an eyebrow at me and shrugs at me. High school is so damn boring. Besides who cares if there is going to be a newbie or not? It's not like they would make a difference in my life.

The bells ring and everyone starts to walk to there classes. I start to head over when some dude with brown hair runs into me.

"Oi watch it brat" I say and look up at him. Yes I'm small.

"I-I'm s-s-sorry" he says as he blushes and looks looks down. Okay he's a little cute. What the fuck, no he's not what am I saying?

"Just don't let it happen again" I say and walk away a little confused. I haven't seen him around here before. He's probably the new brat.

I enter class just on time and sit down in the back. Our teacher walks in and looks around.

"Well we had a new student but it looks like he's late so I-" He gets interrupted by the new kid bursting in our class out of breath.

"Sorry" he pants and puts his hands on his knees as he tries to catch his breath. The teacher looks down at him with pity and starts to introduce him.

"Anyways everybody this is Eren Yaeger, this is his first year of high school so don't be too rude" Mr. Galen says. I can tell this Eren kid is shy since he's blushing and standing there looking down at his feet. "You can go sit down next to Levi, Levi raise your hand" great now I'm sitting next to him. I raise my hand and Eren finds my hand and blushes again realizing he bumped into me this morning. He walks down next to the empty seat besides me and sits down.

All the other kids are looking at him with pity knowing how I can be. "Aright everybody let's begin class"

Mr. Galen starts to teach us about how important knowing about our history can be to us and bla bla bla. I wasn't interested in the lesson. I looked over at the new kid who also seemed bored. He must've felt me staring at him since he looked over at me and looked away as soon as he saw me looking at him.

The whole class period he was nervous and I could tell by the way he was tapping his feet and drumming his fingers on the desk. He looked over at me a couple times and would immediately blush and look away. I gotta admit that was cute.

When class was over he rushed out and ran away. I chuckled, maybe this kid will be interesting.

EREN'S POV:

As soon as that class was over I made a break for my locker. That guy in there was making me extremely nervous. It did not help that he was extremely hot. I leaned my head against my locker and sighed. Where the hell is Armin? I know he goes here.

"Hey Eren!" I hear across the hallway to see my friend running in my direction. "Sorry I was running late this morning so I couldn't help you out" he says out of breath.

"Whatever dude" I said as I faced towards him. "So what's going on?" I ask him.

"Nothing much I got here like a minute before my first class started, how's high school so far?" He asks me.

"Not as bad as I thought it would be" I say while slightly blushing remembering that dude in my first class. He tilts his head and raises an eyebrow at me.

"You like somebody already don't you?" He says and shakes his head at me.

"Armin no I don't! It's my first day hear, dear god I'm not that fast" I say completely lying.

"Yea yea sure, what's your next subject?"

"Science" I answer him.

"Okay cool we have the same class" Armin tells me. "So at lunch I'll introduce you to my friends ok?" He asked knowing how shy I am.

"Why do I have to socialize Armin?" I ask sighing and pout at him.

"You'll have to, no need to, make friends. The only friends you have right now are me and Mikasa. And Mikasa shouldn't count since she's your sister" he says

"But Armin-"

"No buts Eren. Besides having some friends couldn't hurt right?" He asks me hopefully

"Yes they can" I respond and he sighs.

"Eren come on we gotta get goin" he says.
