Friends (Ereri/Riren fan fiction)

LEVI'S POV:

It was lunch time and apparently I had to be there since one Erwin's friends was going to introduce one of his friends to us. His excuse being 'he only has two friends including me and his sister'. I mean but I have to admit I felt bad for a kid if he was so anti social that he only had two friends including his sister. Well it's not like I'll ever hang out with the kid so I guess it's fine.

"Hey Armin! I'm guessing that's the newbie?" Petra pointed to a kid. I turned around to see who it is. It's the Eren kid. We make eye contact and he immediately blushes and looks away. Erwin and the rest of the group notices. Especially shitty glasses as she smiles evilly.

"Soooooo Eren how's high school? I heard it's your first year here? Have you taken interest in anybody yet?" She asks him while turning around to specifically look at me. I glare at her while she does so.

"U-uh n-no" he says while looking at the ground. Shitty glasses wiggles her eyebrows at the dude named Armin and he nods his head yes to conclude that he does infact like someone already. The brat better like me.

"Hey Eren why don't you sit next to Levi?" Erwin asks him. His eyes widen in panic and if possible he turns an even darker shade of red.

"O-only if h-he's okay with i-it" he barely manages to say.

"Oh I'm sure he won't mind sweetie" Shitty Glasses says as she pushes him towards me. Erwin gives him a warm smile and I just keep my emotionless expression on. He sits down and looks anywhere but my direction. He twiddles with his thumbs as he looks down at his lap. The whole entire table is watching us. Not kidding. As if something climatic were about to happen.

"Hey brat why did you suddenly decide to come to high school?" I ask him. Might as well give them what they want. He looks at me and I can tell he's surprised.

"You gonna stare all day or answer me kid?" I ask him as he blushes.

"My Dad forced me" he says, well it seems more close to a whisper actually.

"AWE AREN'T YOU JUST ADORABLE!" Shitty Glasses yells. And surprise, he blushes yet again.

"Give him a break guys he's obviously shy." I said with pity for him. The whole table looks at me then him, them me, then him, and so on. He looks up surprised that it has been silent the whole time and looks in the direction their eyes are going in.

I guess it was that surprising for me to show even that much kindness. He notices what going on and looks down as if the idea of if he can't see them, they can't see him. Honestly it's a little adorable. I need to stop. He'll turn me soft.

"So the rest of us have to go... work on  project! so you guys just hang out for now okay bye!" a person named Jean says as the rest of them run out.

"Oi brat what do you want to do for the rest of lunch?" I asked him. He looks up and blushes.

"I'm fine with anything I guess" He says. Well at least he didn't stutter this time. I know a place this kid will probably like in the school. The Library. Surprisingly the library was huge and had computers, books, and even a TV screen showing documentaries and stuff. It's two stories (Pun fucking intended) tall and is a nice place to hang out.

"Come on kid" I say and grab his arm leading the way.

*time skip*

"Whoa it's huge!" he says looking around with excitement. I chuckle and nod my head. He blushes just a little and looks away.

"Oh let's go over there!" he says and grabs my hand as we run over to the science fiction area. He blushes once we stop noticing what he did. He lets go and looks at the books. I sit down in one of the chairs and just watch him. He is cute. I laugh as he runs from one side to another.
