I suddenly woke up unexpectedly. I sat up and checked the time. It was 12:07 a.m. I guess I will watch anime for a few since I am wide awake. But that was when I heard some ruffling coming from outside. I got up from my bed and looked to see who it was. I couldn't see who but they quickly ran into the woods. I am not going to be able to get there fast enough. I know! I will take Ms.Midnight! I slipped some long pj pants and quietly walked out of my room, shutting the door behind me. I carefully walked to my parents room to make sure they were still asleep. I saw my mom sleeping peacefully on the left side of the bed. But I looked and saw that my dad wasn't there. I was shocked. Were could he be? I then quietly closed the door and walked to the front door. I opened and closed the door behind me and walked to the stable. Ms.Midnight nickered at me. "Hey girl. We are going on a midnight ride." I told her as I grabbed her bridle and her saddle and walked into her stall.

I slipped them on perfectly without her moving a whole lot. I opened the stall door and lead Ms.Midnight out of her stall. Once she was out I closed the stall door. I climbed on her and we walked out of the barn and followed to whatever the hell it was that went into the woods.
Thank god the creature left footprints so me and Ms.Midnight were walking and trotting the path. That was when we hid in the shadows when we saw something run by a couple feet away. It was chasing a deer. A wolf perhaps? I was still curious. I then kicked Ms.Midnight gently and he trotted a little. We came to a stop when I saw the wolf kill the deer and feast on it. But when I looked at it closer, I realized that it wasn't a wolf. It looked..human. That was when it stopped feasting. I was super quiet and luckily Ms.Midnight was too. That was when the creature turned his head and stared at us. It was...my dad. He had extra hairs all over him and sharp teeth. And..beady yellow eyes. I turned Ms.Midnight around and kicked her hard that made her take off so fast. We kept running and running and not looking back. But I looked back to make sure. I looked forward and a big ass branch knocked me in the face and I fell off of Ms.Midnight and landed right on my ass. "Midnight!" I screamed at her but she kept running and she disappeared. I looked around and no one was in sight. I then walked up the path back home. Once I did, I saw Ms.Midnight waiting for me in front of the barn. "Oh you little wuss." I told her as I approached her. She nickered at me. I grabbed her reins and led her inside the barn. I took her bridle and saddle off and led her inside her stall. I gave her some treats and more water and walked back inside the house. I just walked straight to my room and fell asleep right away.
