When I saw Ayano grab Budo like that my eyes got wide. W-what? She's acting kind of strange.. Budo fell back and Ayano was on top of him, giving me a feeling as if I didn't like seeing her on top. What was this feeling telling me? I pushed it off and stood there.
"Are you okay? I'm so sorry, I freaked out for a second." Ayano looked into his eyes.
"Y-yeah. Of course I'm alright!" Budo chuckled. I felt jealousy, WHY was this happening to me?? They both got up.
"Guys, it's time for science again," I said.
"Okay, let's go!" Budo ran and Ayano ran after him, making me even more mad. What the hell? Why was this happening?! I ran after them.
We arrived at the science lab and we put our coats on. Budo dropped his bandana and Ayano picked it up for him.
"Y-you dropped this..." She handed it to him.
"Thanks!" They smiled and we sat down.
I looked at Osana and she looked at me. We locked eyes, but I didn't feel anything. Then like she always does she called, "BAKA". I looked away and put my head on my desk. The teacher was outside talking to a student.
I accidentally fell asleep.
What felt like 2 minutes later it was the end of the day, and I opened my eyes. Everyone was gone, except some girl sitting next to me.
"Taro?" The girl called. I looked at her and it was Ayano!
"Ayano?" I got up. I stumbled back and she caught me.
"You fell asleep, silly! Do you want me to walk home with you?"
"Sure, I think it would help." We got up and we walked home. I saw Osana at the gate screaming,
"BAKA, BAKA BAKA, WHERE ARE YOU?!" I ran up to her. Ayano walked behind me.
"Osana! I fell asleep, you should've gone without me. Why did you wait for me?"
"Uh well, it's not like I like you or anything!!" She blushed.
"Ugh, anyway, let's go!" She scowled.
"Ayano, i'm so sorry...I forgot I have to hang out with her. Maybe we can walk home together tomorrow?" I said. I felt really bad. She looked at me like she was hurt, but her tone was careless but not too much.
"Oh, pfft yeah thats fine! I have to go to Martial Arts anyway. Cya, Taro!" She smiled and walked.
"B-bye...."
