Kera wakes up to a loud howl of a nearby timber wolf, she had heard them before but this time the cry was louder as if it was in pain. Keira's mother, Jane helped sick and injured animals because she couldn't stand seeing them in pain. And that is why Kera leapt out of bed to help the wolf. She carried the creature inside and placed on her bed to examine not even worried about it biting her. She saw a small gash on the back of one of it's legs. The gash kept bleeding all over her cow skinned bed, she quickly grabbed a cloth and rapped it around his leg to stop the bleeding so it didn't die of blood lose. The wolf stopped it's moans of pain. Then he suddenly looked towards Kera who was now a bit worried about it's sharp, pointy teeth. The Timber wolf slowly edged towards her as she stepped back into the wall realising that there was nowhere else to go. She closed her eyes and hoped it would be quick. Then she felt a soft wet nose touch her bare ankle, she open her eyes wondering if she was dead but to her surprise the wolf had curled up next to her feet and kept nudging her with his nose it was then when she realised that she had a companion.
