Chapter Three

"So, what should we do first?" I ask.

Mabel, Candy, Mia, Jewel, Grenda and I are sitting in a circle on our sleeping bags in the living room.

"Karaoke! Karaoke! Karaoke!" chants Grenda, banging her fists on the floor.

"Noooooo!" wails Mia. "I'm a terrible singer!"

"You are not!" I say.

"I actually wouldn't mind some karaoke." says Jewel.

"Karaoke is fun." says Candy

"Okay, so it's five against one. Sorry Mia, majority rules." says Mabel.

Mabel turns on her Wii system and puts a karaoke game in.

"Let's sing to "Don't Stop Believin'!" I say. Everyone agrees with me.

Mabel clicks on "Don't Stop Believin'" from the list of songs and hands the microphone to me.

"There's only one microphone, but since you suggested the song, I'm giving it to you." says Mabel.

The song begins and we all get ready to sing. At some point during the song, we all start laughing because I accidentally said,"Don't START believing" instead of "Don't STOP Believing" After karaoke we played Truth or Dare.

"Hmmm Mia. Truth or Dare?" asks Mabel

"Truth" says Mia

"What's the most embarrassing thing you've ever done?"

"Do I have to answer that?" asks Mia, blushing.

"Yes!" we all say

"Okay fine. Yesterday..." she starts giggling. "Yesterday I walked around the house singing the hokey pokey."

We all start laughing. Then after Truth or Dare we decide to Monopoly. Grenda won. Her prize was one of the bags of candy.

"Hey what time is it?" asks Mabel eventually

"Like, four am ?" asks Jewel

"I'm getting bored. Who wants to go dump ice water on my brother and then annoy him?" asks Mabel.

"MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" We all yell.

We get up and follow Mabel up the stairs. She puts a finger to her lips as if to signal Stop giggling you guys seriously this will never work if you don't shush up! We all creep into the bathroom, with Mabel holding an empty chip bowl. In my effort to not laugh, I accidentally let out a snort.

"Waddles! Come here!" says Mabel, thinking the sound came from her pet pig.

"Mabel. That was me trying not to laugh," I tell her.

We all burst out laughing.

"Shhh!" whispers Mabel.

Mabel takes the chip bowl and holds it under the bathtub faucet, fills it with freezing cold water, dumps it out, and then refills it. Then we creep into Dipper and Mabel's room. By this time we've all pretty much lost it. We are all trying so hard not to laugh out loud. There is lots of hissing and giggling happening. Mabel holds the bowl over Dipper's head and mouths one,two,three! On three she half swings half dumps the bowl of ice-water over Dipper's head.

"I NOMINATE DIPPER PINES FOR THE ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE!!!" she screams, then we all run out laughing our heads off. Meanwhile, a disoriented Dipper tries to figure out what just happened. He hears us laughing in the hallway and comes out of his room, soaking wet.

"What is wrong with you people?!" Dipper asks furiously.

"We got bored," I say matter-of-factly

"SO WHY DID YOU WAKE ME UP?!" he demands.

"It was Mabel's idea!" says Grenda. Then her and Candy run back downstairs, followed by Mia and Jewel. Mabel turns back to Dipper. He makes an annoyed sound and then goes back in his room, closing the door behind him. Then we hear a shriek.

"YOU GUYS GOT THE JOURNAL WET!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I think now might be a good time to go back downstairs." says Mabel

"Yeah good idea." I say.

"More candy for Candy!" yells Candy from the living room.

"More! More! More!" Grenda chants, along with the others.

We run into the living room to see Candy stuffing her mouth with sour candies. The other girls are sitting around her pumping their fists up and down. We join in.

"Too sour! Too sour!" cries Candy after chewing and swallowing.

We all laugh and then Mabel gets up and gets a glass of water for Candy, but then she holds it out of her reach.

"Ah ah ah!" says Mabel teasingly. "Say the alphabet backwards first!"

"Z.....y.....x..........u- oh no that's not right, umm.." Candy struggles.

Mabel hands her the water. "It's okay!" she giggles. "I was just kidding!"

Candy grabs the water and chugs it down in one sip.

Then Candy hits Mabel with a pillow and before I know it i'm in the midst of a huge pillow fight. And that's all I can remember before finally falling asleep.
