The clock just kept ticking. I was so excited to finally get out of this place and go home. I missed my friends back home.
The teacher rambled on and on about her stupid summer plans. I
don't care, not one bit.
Sophomore year has been so long and boring it's all like a- The bell rang! I hopped out of my seat as fast as I could and ran.
I got to the school parking lot, I saw all the boys crowded around Darcy. I rolled my eyes as she flirted with everyone of them.
I walked up to her, and a formation of jocks was made in front of me. "Um, do you mind if I um..." I stuttered
All of them laughed at me and my sister looked mortified. She ran past the jocks and pulled me away.
"Are you stupid?" She glared at me while gripping my arm. I looked down at the ground. "Get away from me you loser." She pushed me back and walked over to the car.
I walked back to my dorm, because she was right. My sister was always right. She's the most popular girl in our school. There was no competing with her.
"Hey, Logan!" Elle called to me. Her blond curly hair flowed in the wind as she ran after me.
I waved and kept walking. I had the biggest crush on her, but she would never feel that way about a guy like me.
She followed me to my room so we could talk. She sat on my bed like it was her own. "I'm gonna miss you..." She said as tears filled her eyes.
I gave her a hug, and reassured her. "It'll be okay!" I promised. "We'll see each other next year!"
She nodded her head, and whipped her eyes. "So do you think that maybe we could hang out? I mean it's the last day."
"Sure, do you want to ask Quentin if he wants to?" I asked. He was my best friend and Elle's boy friend.
She shook her head. "We um, had a fight." She said with her head down.
"Are you okay?" I made sure. "What was it about?"
She started fiddling with her bracelets, she always did that when she was nervous. "Yeah I'm okay. the fight was about you."
My heart sunk. Is this my fault? Did I say something wrong did Quentin say something bad about me and Elle stool up for me?
"Well I told him that we had to break up," Her pale blue eyes looked at me. "Because I'm in love with you."
