"Logan?" Darcy's face hovered above me. I groaned realizing the whole vision was a blur.
My head hurt so badly, I looked over and saw the kid who I barely remember hitting me. I jumped to my feet and stared at his face.
He gave me a strange look. "Darcy, babe your brother is a freak." He scratched his head, pulled my sister away and left.
I started to walk back to my dorm for real, my head looking at my old black converse all stars. The whole left side of my face began to swell up.
I walked into my small beige room, were my roommate Charlie was lifting weights. When he saw my face he dropped his curling bar on the ground and rushed over to me.
"Man, are you okay?!" He said handing me his cold water bottle. I held it to my face as I nodded. Tears filled my eyes.
Charlie patted my back. "Hey I know it's rough, but it's the last day of classes! Summer will be great! See all your old friends." His voice was so cheerful. I think that he was now talking about his summer more than mine.
"Okay, well I hope you feel better! I'm going out with Joy." Charlie called as Joy walked through the door. I waved good bye.
Charlie was a cool looking guy. He was strong he had blonde hair and brown eyes.
Joy however was stunning. She was small with brown hair and blue eyes. Everything about her was perfect, although I would never have feelings for her.
I thought about my sister and her "boy toy" Mike. I laughed thinking of Mike, he was strong but as smart as a potato.
How could Darcy be so beautiful on outside, and so cruel on the inside. She made me feel like such a loser everyday, that's why I was so scarred to make friends.
I hope this summer would be different. I would get to see my only friend back home, Eric. He was the only person who really understood me.
