Chapter 2
"Fionna! Wake up honey!"
I rubbed my eyes and blinked several times before realising it was Cake.
"Cake? What are you doing? It's about 5 in the morning!" I groaned rubbing my temples.
"Girl! It ain't 5! It's already 10!" I gasped and shook my head.
Shoot...I only had about 3 hours to do 7 good deeds.
"Fionna. Fionna. Look listen. Everyday at the 16th of June you have to do 7 good deeds. It's your life source. Don't forget" The blonde woman had tears in her eyes as she set me down on a tree stump holding my tiny hand in her palm and squeesing it gently.
"Don't forget" she ran away, tears flowing behind her as she disappeared into the shadows.
I quickly grabbed my backpack and held the door open for Cake.
"Come on! Let's go!" We ran out as I hopped on Cake's back and we ran to the Candy kingdom and went to Prince gumball.
"Hey Fionna , I wasn't expecting you to come here" He grinned and gestured me over. "Well see I was working on a expirement to see if i could convert various things into ones body".
I nodded and pretended I was listening.
"Hey PG you have anything for me to do? Like good deed stuff?" I asked promptly, looking nervously at him.
He nodded and smiled. "Can you go to the fluffy kingdom and deliver these batch of gumdrops for them?"
I nodded and grabbed it and hopped on Cake's back.
After we did six of them me and Cake went around searching until we heard a scream.
We ran into the direction and gasped. It was a boy with gray skin and black scruffy hair and deep red eyes. He seemed to be torturing a old gnome man making him fall continously.
"Stop!" I said rushing to the gnome and going infront of him.
He hissed at me . "Who are you. Get out of my way!" he pushed me aside as I fell.
"Cake! help!" she shook her head vigorously with wide eyes.
"No hun! get away from him! He's Marshall lee the vampire king!"
I stared then felt a small smile creep up to my lips if i could free the gnome from him it would count as a good deed and would save the gnome and stop him from terrorising citizens.
I charged towards him lowering my sword and jumping on top of him.
"Fionna! No!" Cake's voice echoed but ignored it. I wasnt going to let this pass.
"Free him!"
He looked at me if I was kidding and smirked.
"Aren't you the good little girl, Fionna?" he poked me in the head and floated above me.
I shook my head. I knew i was good but I HATED being called 'little' so I charged at him pushing him out of the sky. Thankfully Cake saved me by using her arms and catching me.
"Cake! thanks!"
She winked at me and did a thumbs up to me and left me on the ground.
"No prob hun!"
I smiled at her and nodded and went up to him. He layed there staying stilll not moving. I put my hand over his chest and called for Cake and slapped Marshall.
Marshall....Somehow quite a familliar name...
I came closer to hear his heart beat when I jumped.
"BOO!" I jumped off and put my hand over my heart. That was terrifying.
