Calum took my hand into his. He lead me to school, but as soon as we reached the school boundary he let go of my hand.

"Your a student here" he asks me.

"Yah, what else would I be, I'm to young to have a job here" I say under my breath.

We walk a bit more in silence. The air filled with awkwardness and tension. My hands start to sweat, am I supposed to say something? The silence is broken by Calum talking.

"I'll see you in my class later princess" Calum said walking away. With him finally gone, I run right up next to Lily's side.

Lily had her iconic mad face on. She would make this face only if something was really bothering her. It was funny cause her eyes were filed with rage and she had a scowl on her face.

"I'm sorry he's your mate" Lily says.

"Yah..." I say back.

"He needs to learn that sometimes you can be really shy, and sometimes you can be sassy" Lily said laughing. She knows how to lighten the mood.

"The weird thing is... he said he'll see me in his class later, I think he's a teacher" I say, making Lily's eyes widen.

"That will make everything awkward" Lily says as we walk through the front door to the school.

The school had an old feel to it. The school was made out of stone, and at the opening there was a sign that said midnight high school.

There was not a lot of students here because this is a little town in the mountains. I loved how the school looked, it almost felt like I took a trip through time, back to the Middle Ages! Just then Lily broke me out of thought.

"Do we have the same first period" Lily asked me.

Lily and I took are schedules out, and we looked at our first period class. Lily had class with Mrs. Red. Mrs. Red taught science. I had Math, with Mr. Hood.

"Sorry" Lily said giving me an apologetic look. She hugged me, and then off she went.

I slowly walked to my first period. Already this day sucks, and when I get home I'm going to ask my parents if I can be homeschooled again.
