I stopped.

I quickly turned my head to find a tail. I moved it back and forth. I'm in wolf form! I did it, I'm a wolf!

My mom did say my birthday is this week, that means I'm a full Omega wolf now. Finally I can transform into wolf and human.

This is amazing! I'm still a small Omega, but I'm a full wolf now. Plus I can runaway from Calum.

"No you won't" Calum's voice echoes through my mind.

I look around, no Calum. Where is his voice coming from? Wait I'm a full wolf... mind links.

"Do we have a link now that I'm a full wolf" I say mentally trying to communicate to Calum.

"You know it princess" Calum says back.

I here a wolf howl behind me. I can hear feet hitting the ground at a high speed. I jump in fear and I start running again.

I start to pant again. My legs start to feel a bit tired. Even in wolf form I'm not good at running

"Calum I think a wolf is chasing me, help" I say. A few seconds later he responds.

"Luna thats me, get back here" Calum barks out.

"No Calum, I'm running away, you can not control me" I say.

"No Luna, I'm not controlling you, it's for your safety" Calum yells out.

"My safe-" but before I could finish my sentence I bump into something.

It was big and fussy. It was white as snow, and it dominated me in size. I back away whimpering. What did I run into?

A wolf.

No ordinary wolf. Alpha female Daphne, she was feared among many packs. I've heard stories of her recently. She is famous for eating her enemy wolves.

Her mate is a hunter, Penny. Penny and Daphne are one of the many wolves who have same gender mates. It's not common but it's not rare ether.

Daphne looks down at me with glaring brown eyes. I could feel her rage and anger. She showed her white teeth and growled violently.

I backed away slowly, not wanting to get hurt. I felt small and weak in her presence more then in Calum's.

As soon as she was about to lunge at me, Calum jumps in. He stands tall in front of me. He is also showing teeth and growing at Daphne.

"Luna stay behind me" he says mentally to me.

I watch as both wolves circle around each other. Both growling, wanting blood on there teeth. I whimpered as I watched, not wanting to see fur fly with flesh and blood.

"So this little Omega is what you are defending" Daphne says through mind link.

"She is weak, but she's my mate" Calum growls to Daphne.

"I have a proud Hunter as a mate, don't you want better then an Omega" Daphne says.

Calum stops circling Daphne. Calum stands there blank. He says nothing and dose nothing.

"That's what I thought" Daphne says jumping at Calum. She bites him hard on the back of the neck. I could hear Calum whipper as she digs into his skin.

Calum flips her off of him. Daphne lands on her feet and looks at Calum. Calum stands tall and stares her straight in eye.

"I love her" Calum says attacking Daphne. She howls as Calum rips her skin with his claws. Blood is dripping off of Daphne's body.

Calum bites her leg and leaves it limp. Daphne growls and limps because of her new broken leg. She glares at Calum.

"I'll be back, and I'll kill your mate" Daphne says before running away into the woods.

I'm so scared I was trembling in fear. My heart was racing. My eyes just witnessed a battle between Alphas.

Calum transforms back into a human. I find some strength, and I turn back into human form.

I need confront. I need something to help me after seeing that. I need Calum.

I run into his arms. I hug him as if he's everything I love. Calum is so warm, but also covered in some blood. I look up into Calum's soft brown eyes. He bends down a bit, and I stand on my tippy toes.

Are lips connect. A true kiss.
